These Christmas Tree mini journals are entirely handmade; the journals are made with 99% of new products. Some of the beads (spine dangles) used were from broken jewelry.
The spine has a cord for hanging. The spine dangles hang on a metal ring brad.
The cover (3.5" x 5", spine - 1.5") is chipboard and brocade upholstery fabric secured with glue and sewn edges. The corners have metal embellishments.
The signature pages (72 pgs fronts & backs) are new cardstock sewn by hand with embroidery floss and the pockets are secured with glue.
The tags are also from the new cardstock; hand punched with an arch on top and a whole for string or ribbon (not included).
The metal eyelets in the front and back of the cover secure the ribbon closure and button in place.
Ideas for Use:
1. You can use these mini journals all year long to document special events of the current year with photos and other memorabilia, and then pack it away until the following year to hang the mini journal on your Christmas Tree. Possibly for each child, grandchild, niece, nephew...
2. Document each year's photo around the Christmas Tree or other special Christmas Photo traditions.
3. Child's first Christmas gift to cherish for the rest of their life.
