    I think disclosing things in this sort of format, especially adding context to "How did you get so many nodestones" is a good thing. It can be rather discouraging for newer players to think that they are missing out on "hidden strats" when in reality the creator in the video has just been hoarding a stash of items for 2+ years. Thanks for the FAQ. Thanks for being open and honest even with small details.

    This is amazing. Just switched from DB to shad a week ago now and have been falling more in love with it everyday. Super flashy and sweet mechanics! Always feels great when doing the boss trick blade

    Manual weaving is good because, if you time it properly, you can animation-cancel assassinate and attack about 10% faster.

      Definitely. I will learn how to do it soon now that we are in the post-Destiny world :)

    As a main shadower, I think doing manual Assassinate and ME will make it better dps, or your dodging reaction or even using trickblade

      @MapleBinch  Před 2 lety

      Yes, since I uploaded this video, I started manually weaving.

    So how valid is farming mesos on a totem vs making boss mules? Which way is more cost efficient?

    • @ClarkGMS
      @ClarkGMS Před 2 lety

      good question, seems like bossing mules can get up to 1.2b with around 12-15k stat weekly w boss/ied ofc. farming nontotem gives like 380-450m hourly? seems like a mix is endgame. but id like to hear his opinion too.

    • @MapleBinch
      @MapleBinch  Před 2 lety +1

      For early game, I think farming mesos on a totem is better because to create bossing mules, you really need nodestones. The value you get from nodestones is incomparable to any amount of meso that you can farm in the early game as far as the damage gains you will get. I think the play for a great early game strategy would be to get to 6k legion (or at least 4k), work on getting your first character to 250+ to farm meso and nodestones along the way, and then when your nodes are maxed on your main character, you can funnel all of those nodestones into a bossing mule. I'd recommend farming on that bossing mule also, preferably with drop gear, so that as you're training it, you can get nodestones and mesos for your next bossing mule. With this new meta of bossing mules, end-game players who have already farmed a lot on their mains/secondary farmers will benefit the most because they already have the nodestones and supplies needed to make more bossing mules. Hope this was insightful :)

      @@MapleBinch thanks for the info! Question about the sticky key on assassinate ME, an alliance member told me that its a lot better to use manually, that upon recording, he was able to do 11 more whole animations in just 30 seconds. That seems huge if its real, Im new to shad, but you think its possible to hit 11 more full att att ME animations within 30 secs by manually doing it?

    • @MapleBinch
      @MapleBinch  Před 2 lety +1

      @@ClarkGMS I'm not sure how much better it is, but I believe it. Manually weaving, even before Destiny, was always way better in terms of DPS output. It's just easier to use sticky keys for me; I feel like it doesn't make or break a boss fight clear for me.

  • @Nimsan

    Kinda wanna switch from DB to Shad but I play on Reboot and I really don't feel like starting over with nodes and shit

    • @MapleBinch
      @MapleBinch  Před 2 lety

      If you really want to play shad, just switch. The nodestones would be a good investment, and the two classes share some nodestones so it wouldn't be a total loss. If you ever switch back to DB you will already have your DB nodes done. If you're hurting for nodestones, though, I'd rather just make a new shadower and grind for nodes ont hat character instead. Up to you in the end of it all :) Good luck!
