Root canals are nearly the same price as an implant. A lot of people seem to have problems with root canals after a few years so it makes you wonder if they're worth it
Root canal has an apparent 50% success rate. It locks the abscess inside your jawbone which then roots your bone away from inside out. But what do you expect we still use toxic mercury in fillings from the 1800s.
Success rate is about 80%, depending on the status of the tooth to begin with. Antibacterial agents are used to clean the canals. The source of the infection is the dead/dying nerve. Once this is removed the body can work at the residual jaw infection :)

Get the crown! My old dentist did a root canal didn’t place a crown and the tooth cracked. I ended up losing the tooth. My new dentist did try and save it by placing a crown but it was too late.
@@daniellebudick9485 I would get the crown, but I paid for the root canal, my insurance paid half and I had to pay the rest out of pocket, pretty expensive. Don't have money for a crown right now unfortunately, I've heard they are expensive also.
Abscess started due to rotting tooth structure in the first place. When we remove infected structure, body starts to heal. Think in turns of gangrenous limb which has to be amoutated to save the rest of body.
Had this done recently need to go back later to get the crown added. Felt no pain at all until they had to seal the insert and the freeze wore off. If you don’t have dental insurance it is going to be costly. With dentists wanting people to come in regularly maybe if the prices weren’t so outrageous people would do so. I’m getting a root canal done one a molar that was infected and it’s in 3 sessions. Not sure if that’s normal or not or if it’s so I pay more $$$$ but this has been exactly what my dentist has done. Last session is the capping of the tooth
How r u now? Is it fine?
Most general dentist do it in two visits.
Endodonticst usually do in in one.
Not including the crown, I mean
I am going to brush my teeths 3 times a day after watching this.
😆😆👌
Uske wajah se aur effect hota hai tooth par
Будто дрель для строительства использовали для зачистки каналов , но все же это бор-машина
Great, I don't need to do BDS now!
Thanks 😀
I had this today but i wasnt given any anesthesia and it hurts a lot like a lot alot, and when im cringing to the pain the dentist finally gave me some anesthesia but it wasnt enough and i feel all the drilling inside my tooth, i think i will have to get a new dentist
I'm really rethinking this snickers I'm eating right now, but a little kool-aid should clear my head.
I've had several root canals before the age of 21.... the pain really doesn't get to you once you've had it done so many times.
Does...does it hurt that much?
@@ryuzakev3656 There's pain here and there, but you're mostly numb to it.
I'm about to get one done soon, and I'm literally just a teenager. Not one of the dentists knew what was going on, but one said that I needed a root canal and so he scheduled the appointment. I'm scared that he's wrong, because I take such good care if my teeth. Had to have braces, but still brushed them good. Did the pain feel hot and cold numb-like in your tooth? I'm just trying to get info before I ruin a possibly perfectly fine tooth...
@Kúnàl M (Savage Indian Boi) hey bro plz help I have infection in my upper tooth and dentist says that root canal will be treatment and I'm scared should I go for it or not please help me 😭😭
@Kúnàl M (Savage Indian Boi) yes I visit many dentist and finally I found best dentist I have to go for root canal treatment
just had mine finished up today. it took two appointments, the first one was for drilling and cleaning the tooth, then temporarily filled. the second appointment was the cement. minimal pain ^^
No todos los dentistas te dan esta opción , muchos optan por extraer la pieza , por comodidad de ellos.
Root canals are nearly the same price as an implant. A lot of people seem to have problems with root canals after a few years so it makes you wonder if they're worth it
Here in Romania a root canal is at least 3-4 times cheaper than an implant!!
most insurance covers root canals at least where i live
In Albania whole root canal treatment is 50-150$ depends on tooth
Why is this recommend to me? CZcams do you know something I don't? 😳
I had volvic before but don't think I could manage a Canal.
I was watching NFL highlights and suddenly got this recommend. Thanks for caring youtube.
czcams.com/video/sa4UyJD3XAw/video.html
Root canal has an apparent 50% success rate. It locks the abscess inside your jawbone which then roots your bone away from inside out. But what do you expect we still use toxic mercury in fillings from the 1800s.
Success rate is about 80%, depending on the status of the tooth to begin with.
Antibacterial agents are used to clean the canals. The source of the infection is the dead/dying nerve. Once this is removed the body can work at the residual jaw infection :)

As far as I know, none of them has used amalgam fillings for a long time now
uneducated
May I'm good last time I went to a dentist the "assistant" took a grinder my teeth and filed them down and all I went In for was a cleaning.
So why would you allow them to do that to you? Were you put asleep for a procedure? Is that why you didn't know they were doing that?!
Судя по названию канала, это в Турции, Анталия?
Еду туда. Сколько стоит + - такая процедура?

Same here!! Worst feeling in my life period.
So other process are not painful (I'm going to do on Sunday and I'm very scared)
Так, и с какого перепугу это попало в реки, лол?
чё там вообще делают?)
Just had one done didn’t feel anything!!! It was sore after and still swollen from the abscess but the next day pain was gone and swelling took 4 days … if yours still hurt bad after switch Denstist
Why did they put a random screw on 1 side???

Отлично! Перед сном само то!
Особенно после 12 часового рабочего дня

Very well explained 👌
I went to the dentist today and this video was recommended to me
Root canal booked for the 30th!
Not a coincidence this was recommended...
Mines tomorrow and I got this recommended just now ...
@@garimakashyap3466 guys, I'm extremely bad with those things. I was scared to death, lol. I did this like 6 months ago. O swear: the hardest part is to keep your mouth open for like 40 minutes! I felt nothing!! Oh also, I'm afraid of needles. But besides of that, it was good!
@@thelaziestbee thanks for telling this! I got it done and keeping your mouth open was the hardest including applying the substances which are extremely sour, my jaw starting aching really hard because of that!
@@garimakashyap3466 I'm happy to know!!!
Why would you do this to your tooth?
To save the tooth
I’ve had 3 of them , wide awake and never felt a thing , Some people have all this drama about their root canals . The only thing you need to watch out for is a secondary infection , which I had 15 years later
It's because your dentist was more competent in his job, unlike the dentists in other reviews.
Secondary infection, could you explain please?
@@BB-iy2mk it just gets retreated im pretty sure
I had my root canal treatment done last week... Whenever I try to chew there it hurts a little as if I'm pushing the teeth down is this pain normal.? And furthermore is it normal to feel a little weird after getting a permanent crown ? I got my permanent crown yesterday and it feels a bit weird.. Moreover the dental crown feels a bit heavy... I don't know how to describe this feeling... And while chewing I feel a slight push on the root canal tooth... I'm really worried about it.. Is it normal for the first few days??
@@animeshupadrasta7971 no that's not normal, it's probably because you are starting to get an infection inside the tooth
Altijd heerlijk 😍
It's always the bottom teeth that needs root canals and fillings
deangelo webster most of the time yes but i just finished one on my upper molar
Proximity to the saliva glands make them prone to gathering bacteria
Nope. My three are the top

Hello sir mere pure upar ke dant nikal chuke hain to Noida lag jaenge kya upar mujhe bataiye
I had this last year, and I thought my tooth will not be saved anymore because the decay was really bad and I have dental abscess and the tooth is also a little bit loose since it's moving a little bit, but a year later it's strong now and I also got a crown
I just got one and it didn't hurt one bit, only when putting the Anesthesia thats it. I'm debating if I should get a crown or not. My tooth feels good no pain or anything when I drink cold drinks or when I eat food.
@@SELF213_ I understand. Just be careful.
why would abscess gradually go away with root canal treatment?
Bacteria grow in the rotten canals. If you seal off the canals the bacteria cannot hide and colonize.
Abscess started due to rotting tooth structure in the first place. When we remove infected structure, body starts to heal. Think in turns of gangrenous limb which has to be amoutated to save the rest of body.
Got this recommended while i am sitting in clinic
I am the only guy who searched for it and found out everyone got recommend
Yeah, nobody searches that
I have to do it tomorrow I am so scared
Are you OK now?
Ry9tt
No one will get this But I am so traumatized with my work I swear I was like : "ohh a D3330 and a D2954 that's expensive."
now I'm curious, what's that ;)
@@whyyouinterestedinit9388 the molar room canal (D3330) and the post and core (D2954). Those are the dental cdt codes. I work at a dental insurance 😅.
А зачем штифт вставили, почему нельзя было просто световую пломбу поставить?
Why was the pin inserted, why was it impossible to just put a light seal?
Had this done recently need to go back later to get the crown added. Felt no pain at all until they had to seal the insert and the freeze wore off. If you don’t have dental insurance it is going to be costly. With dentists wanting people to come in regularly maybe if the prices weren’t so outrageous people would do so. As it is once I get the crown put in it’ll be about $1800 in out of pocket costs. That’s a heck of a lot for one tooth.
Did you get your crown? I just had a root canal done and really debating on going back for my crown. My root canal was done on my front side tooth which I don't eat on that side so I'm thinking I would be ok without a crown
I actually works guys I tried it on my younger brother
But their is a little problem he is still asleep and it's been three days 🙄.
