  • A 39-year-old blind man completed his swim all the way from Vancouver to Nanaimo over the weekend. He did it to raise money for a cause near his heart. Claire Palmer was there for the triumphant moment when he swam his last stroke to shore.

I think there are some shark species and orcas which dont usually attack humans but have in the past. So ya.

The only sharks I’ve ever heard of are the “primitive” six gill ones. And more the most part hang out a thousand -odd feet down. However, for some interesting reasons; in summer are seen around Hornby Island area in about 80 to 100 feet of water. (Ex-SCUBA diver here, having swam with them) and they wanted little to do with us. Check it out, I’m sure there’s videos of them on CZcams.

It was 11 hours of swimming i doubt he had to poo, he may have not even needed to pee, that being said i'm sure he could pee while swimming?
