  • Here's the first full run of my sons backyard/garden track I created for him to practise his RC skills, he's just turned 5 (at the time of recording) so theres plenty scope to toughen up some of the easier obstacles throughout the track as he improves.

Thats a cool circuit, looks like a very British back yard (Homebase fencing lol) Are you from the Uk?
Thats all kids need these days, throw there tablets and game consoles in the bin and give them hobbies, I have learned so much through Rc over the years, all of a sudden your building, engineering and wiring electrics without realising, Very nice buddy

+scotty555babe RC TRUCKIN' UK Yeah, near Birmingham in the UK, I've just changed the links on the jeep so slowly learning myself ready to help him when he's a little older to do it himself.
Any links to somewhere showing what maintenance I should be doing to it?

RC Crawler Im in the North West (Burnley) I tend to search youtube for tips, when maintaining my Rcs, I usually replace shock oils, and re grease the diffs etc, check bearings over and things, I basically end up stripping down the chassis and rebuilding, but I put mine through a lot of mud and water and they suffer abuse, so maintenance is needed regular, If your on your backyard circuit, you may want to check your links and rod ends regular as they can crack and break when they catch over obstacles, also drive shafts can bend under stress.
