The market is crazy Vlad, I feel your pain man. Overpriced crap and soon the repos are coming into the market too which will hopefully drive the used car market down a little bit. It is the same everywhere and I love how you stick to your principle price! It is so easy to get carried away.

There was also the engine oil contamination which will most likely jack up the repair costs. It was good to let it go, there's a better build around the corner.
Salvage prices are now crazy here in the UK,you are right its better to keep your money than work for nearly nothing and then have to warrant too

Well Vlad you know what makes the best profit for you and others aren't gonna get the parts you do. Some cut corners, I've been there. Are there any other cars you look at other than Mercedes and BMW.. maybe an Audi or McLaren.. Whatever the car, I'm here to see it. Maybe you want to replace the Mercedes you sold. My goodness people are paying through the nose for crashed cars
Not much money to be made so it doesn't make sense to me unless you want it for personal use.
With those labour and part prices you can't compete with people who are exporting these, for example that rear bumper with the diffuser costs 250 dollars in Poland (used), fender is around 200 - 300 dollars depending on condition, quarter panel (NEW) around 600 dollars. If I was you I wouldn't buy it as well, but from my East European perspective that was a good deal.

Think you dodged a bullet with this one. The engine oil is a big red flag as it had a milkshake color and said it wasn't running. Not worth taking that chance.
