Its A Breath of Fresh Air. Lets Hope that there Be More Great Choirs In Future.

Beautiful teach me all the catholic church beautiful for a trip Boston give me the opportunity to serve god think about me father
Congratulations.
Very sad that bishops appear not to sing the Veni Creator Spiritus, one of the most beautiful chants of Catholic liturgy
Should all be facing the Altar...not the people
Thank you for your liturgical expertise. Next time they gather a few dozen bishops and a few princes of the Church together for a Mass, I hope they have the good sense to consult you first.
You don't need Liturgical Expertise to know that Facing the Altar, Facing God is the Authentic Catholic way of Worship. And the Bishops have been told by Cardinal Sarah to face the Altar, they just don't want to obey him, a Cardinal of the Church.
Not true. Cardinal Sarah is in favor of facing ad orientem (actually, so am I), but his saying so doesn't make it law. Any change to the Mass would only come at the direction of the Pope with the consultation of the Congregation for Divine Worship.
Further, the diocesan bishops do not follow orders from prefects of the dicasteries. They are the head of their own local Church. Local bishops have extremely wide latitude to interpret liturgical norms as they see fit, and most publish their own for use within their respective dioceses.
I'm sorry but what did I say that is "not true." That they don't obey him? Because that IS true.
No. They don't. Cardinal Sarah is a prefect of a a dicastery. Diocesan bishops do not report to him, nor do they take orders from him. It would be wise for them to show him some respect, of course, as he is one of the pope's closest advisors, but he is not in their "chain of command". Diocesan bishops have tremendous latitude in governing their dioceses. They don't even take orders from the USCCB.
ALL clergy vow to take an oath of obedience , but only to their own bishop and his successors. They do not promise to simply obey everyone that "outranks" him. It doesn't work like the military.
Why does it say in title at second 9--the EPISCOPAL Ordination?
pjmnash It’s an adjective meaning “Related to Bishops”. The heretics of the “Episcopal” Church stole it thinking that they have Apostolic Succession.
The term “Episcopal “comes from the Greek word “Episkopos “(Bishop )..Which only churches possessing Apostolic Succession have valid Bishops ,such as the Catholic Church,Eastern Orthodoxy, etc ..
@@arthurchrzanowski5785 ^^Exactly .Episkopos “in Greek .
Did anyone else notice the orthadox bishop during the laying on of hands by the Episcopal college
He’s a Melkite Catholic bishop
Good thing I wasn't watching the service at the time, because these two guys are taking away from the service why didn't someone editing this.
Wasn't there some not so good stuff going on in the Diocese of Boston?
On the contrary.
If the ordaining bishop was himself consecrated by 3 bishops from separate lines, thus ASSURING valid lineage, why then does it continue to be a requirement that all succeeding bishops ordained by that consecrating bishop also require 3 ordaining bishops? The logic fails me and borders on superstition.
I share with you TALITHA COUMI website
Catholics talk all through the music?
speedstick77 Not usually. At spacial televised Masses, the narrators usually shut their mouths when the music starts.
How sad to see the destruction of this beautiful Cathedral and its interior. So sad.
To the two gabby men who are doing all the talking and explaining, please step aside so we can hear and watch the Ordination.
Please stop talking so we can hear the ceremony.
These two announcers talk to much and don't show us the processional. Excessive talk.
Frank Phillip Martinez Right. There was absolutely no reason for them to ramble on for twenty minutes.
These two guys are talking too much, and not letting people see the procession
the rom catholic and orthodox bishoph is not ordinated but consecrateted, ist different. protestant churches only ordinateted, have no sucsession.
It's sad that every bishop Francis appoints I have to wonder if he's a heretic
Brother, remember that Jesus Christ never choose the best, pure and sineless people. He loves us with all our sins and give us the oportunity to change every day, and no matter wether we are priests, bishops or popes
A Bishop that is a heretic is no longer a holder of that position
disappointing music - liturgical music needs to be familiar to people so they can sing and participate - this isn't music to engage people
Gosh, what are all these mytred bishops doing all Day Long?
Jack Bo They go around their respective dioceses and minister to and correct the people when it is needed. Such forms of ministry might be like visiting a diocesan parish school and administering the Sacraments where they are needed.
Keep the wains away from the paedophiles.
Jesus is pain
Jesus is gore
Jesus is the blood that spilled in war
He’s everything
He’s all things dead he’s pulling down the trigger pointed at your head
To the Catholic Bishop, remove one more holy priest and you’ll be sporting a black eye!
Those 2dudes talking trough are really annoying
Con artists cover up kings frauds wolves
So Protestant in form. So sad to see what the Church has lost since Vatican 2. So, so sad.
balboahigh1999 Please don't start with the "Oh, what has the Church become?"'stuff. It's just not necessary.
Did you really both speak during the entire processional hymn.. you should be ashamed of yourselves 😡
