Vince Staples underrated but for some reason I couldn’t vibe with this new album the same as his self titled project. Idk maybe it was bc it was dead night when i listened, but its just not my favorite project from him.
Joe has it backwards. Ppl are busy on the weekdays and have the weekends to sit with and enjoy music. The industry has a proven business model and they know what they’re doing .
he meant get busy as in stepping outside and not being tied down to your day to day life where u have time to live with the album while youre working, doing school work or taking care of home business. the business is catering more towards the younger listeners in a microwave society because they have SO much content to push. fridays are a good day to release for the charts but not for the integrity of the artistry
