Jimin is best known for his duality. He Is a powerful stage performer and creates many moments in videos. His personality is soft, kind, and extremely humble. Known as one of the best dancers in kpop again for his duality. Can be soft with beautiful lines when performing contemporary. Or fierce and sexy performing hard choreography. Same for his looks. He can be a cute with a boyish charm. Or hella sexy performing. He’s unique. Especially his voice no other artist has his tone or color. As much as he is adored by the world for his talent, fashion , and attitude. He along with the other members always stay humble and give credit to their fans. This album was during a dark time in jimins life. Face was his way of expressing what he was going through. Great album.
This is such an epic song! It was at the end of Face and was like an anthem for Jimin to be free from the depression and alcohol that took over him during the pandemic. He was so lost, but now he's found himself again

Suga has a track called "Set Me Free" that came out in 2020. To avoid confusion 'pt 2" was added to Jimin's song. Another occasion this has happened is J-hope's "Airplane" and BTS' "Airplane pt 2".
I have no words to describe this song at all as its left me speechless when I first heard it and even now.
You might say I'm a little bit biased 😉 😉 as jimin has been my bias ever since boy in love back in 2014 when I first became an army
This is his struggle with his inner dark/negative thoughts, feelings etc in covid and him winning that 'War of the Mind'. Notice how the dancers push him into the middle, stand over him and point fingers at him that's a clue to the some of the feeling and thoughts he was going through in covid. Notice the crazy hands trying to pull him down when he's aloft again another picuture of the fight yet he's the only one who's standing at the end in White showing his real tattoo's well just the ones on the back of his neck and that go down his spine.
Jimin has a lot real tattoo' however the German poem on his chest isn't real however you do get a quick look at one on his side.
Oh yes the set is recreation of the 'Perfect Prison' in the round and there would be a tower in the middle so the guards could watch the prisoners without the prisoners knowing if the guards are watching them. Is this another picture of the prison of negative, darker thoughts that attacked him at one point in Covid?
❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, which aside from the two main choreographers, he had a hand in, offering suggestions, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production, even the set design of the MV. Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released last yr on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs!
Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. In an interview Jimin explained: "I tried to express the grand scale of the song and [the ideas of] determination, passion, and overcoming. “Set me free” means setting myself free, so I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free - not someone else. In the end, I’m the one who has to set myself free. I would say the song has the energy of a light in the darkness. I wanted to express that kind of picture everyone has in their head - a ray of light coming into the darkness is the only thing you can see. If I had to say specific colors, I’d say black and white.

Sir, Jimin was born in 1995. He is not a kid. Asians tend to look young in their 20s and 30s due to genetics. I was carded well into my 40s. So, sir, refrain from call any Asian artists "kid" until you know their age. Thank you for giving Jimin a listen. He and all the other BTS members (RM, Jin, Suga/Agust D, V, and Jungkook) are awesome, in their own ways!

❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to officially join BTS on January 12, 2013, (exactly only 6 months before BTS debuted), being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
