- my body moves with memory that rewrites and revisits itself every day according to my state of mind, the kind of clothes I’m wearing, and the kind of space I’m in
- my body moves gradually according to breath, tension, energy, and balance
- improvisation is choreography just as much as a dandelion flower closes at night and opens again in the morning
- improvisation is dancing the past, present, and future altogether
- it is allowing the body to share the past with the present with the future, as well as the mind with the body with the soul
- working with a supportive collaborator allows for creative freedom to flow without judgement
- practicing self-acceptance creates more opportunities to invite information into the body
- to improvise is to listen to the body, process the information, and express it
