The producer, director and co-writer of this movie is Danny Provenzano, a nephew of Anthony 'Tony Pro' Provenzano who was a capo in the Genovese family. Actors in it include Paul Vario Jnr and Ricky Luchesse. This movie is literally the real life version of Cleaver.
And terrible actor
@@calsums914 ..and part time pretend wiseguy
Tony pro was underboss
That’s why it is better than most critics say-it seems real.
Colombo Underboss John Franzese was also an associate producer for this film. Of course his son, Michael is also pretty famous nowadays.
One of my best memories of internet life is the time I replied to James Caan's tweet about supporting someone who turned out to be not worth it with "I love you, but don't ever take sides with anyone on Twitter again. Ever" and he replied with a smile :) An utterly legendary actor and I am glad I had one interaction with him before he sadly passed. RIP.
Cool i guess not all actors are assholes 👍
This movie was one of the worst mafia movies ever

CLEARLY, AFTER PAYING FOR THE CAST THERE WAS NO MONEY LEFT TO PRODUCE A MOVIE. OMG
This is a good movie. They all don't have multi million dollar budgets. It's ok to enjoy a low budget movie. This is an entertaining film.
Probably didn’t cost shit to make. A couple roles were shitty. Like that top cop. He was too young looking for that role and his tough guy act wasn’t working. The well known guys pulled it through tho. Decent flick about LCN in the 21st century, imho.
@@knowsmebyname I agree wholeheartedly!!!
Tim Case made by real mobsters. This film would put Prozenzano in jail for 4 years based on the real events included in this film . There are parallels to this and the sopranos
What ya mean Delgazio and Lynch from over on 19th street produced it 😂😂
To think that these guys have 50M, even combined, is simply amazing.
I mean, they control a crime syndicate. It would be more of a shocker if they couldn’t come up with 50m collectively.
$10-12M each wouldn't be hard for them to come up with. They wouldn't be happy if they lost it, but they would definitely have it to invest and play around with 👍👍👍👍
Never before did I think I had a chance in Hollywood. But after seeing who they chose to be the FBI guy...I have a feeling you will all be seeing me on the big screen.
DJ Saleos it's too bad that it didn't work that way. I've got some family in the business. My Uncle is kind of a big shot behind the scenes. I'm almost 48 and I watched him move up the ladder for literally as far back as I could remember. In the 70s he worked for CBS on shows like The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazard. I'm not sure what he did exactly but whatever it was he had the respect of all main casts from the shows. He worked for HBO. Sidney Pollack personally got him to help him launch Tristar pictures. He was VP for Entertainment Partners. Anyway he told me how hard it was to break in the business. It doesn't matter if you went to the best schools in the world for acting. In that business it's not what you know it's who you know. He says the best actors in Hollywood are waiting tables or parking cars and will probably never be discovered. I experienced things myself out there. It really is too bad though.
go got them tiger
😂😂😂! I think i can play a more convincing mobster etc than half these guys.... And im japanese and from Massachusetts with 0 accent.

At the end he wants out. I respect his conscience after they killed his 2 best friends who practically made the old guys richer than their greed could ever imagine. Birds of a feather flock together.
Now you know why Scorsese gets the big bucks.
And David Chase
Who is this with my name? I have to say I watched this whole movie. Aside from me having loved mob movies my whole life, there were actors in this who i thoroughly enjoyed through the years. JAMES CAAN? FORGET ABOUT IT. I'll see ANYTHING he's in. Frank Vincent, Vincent Pastore, and hell, even the kid from A Bronx tale was in this. Also I recognized various other actors as well. Now that is what got me in the door. What kept me watching was, that is was all too evident, like was said in the movie. "this thing of ours is dead " Everything now is cartel for me. Now don't get me wrong, I used to dream of belonging to an organization such as Cosa Nostra. With honor and loyalty being the bedrock and foundation! I think we all know now that its a load of bull. Those guys were trying to be gangsters as well as gentlemen. Sorry, can't do both. Not in this country!! Pick a lane and stay in it. At least the cartel does not even try to live as anything but bandidos. I mean hell, the end is still.pretty much the same . The rest of your life in a cell or a bullet. This thing of ours had a good run, but its over.
I’ve read your comment now I’m checking out. Thanks for the tip buddy! 😂

Alright folks, gather 'round and let me tell you about a brilliant American actor who brought a whole new level of intensity to the silver screen. I'm talking about none other than the iconic Frank Vincent. This guy was the real deal, a force to be reckoned with, and a master of his craft. Strap in and get ready for a wild ride.
Now, before I dive into the brilliance of Frank Vincent, let me just say, this man was no ordinary actor. He had a presence that was as commanding as a general leading an army into battle. When Frank stepped onto that screen, you couldn't help but sit up and pay attention. He had that raw talent, that undeniable aura, that made you feel like you were witnessing something truly extraordinary.
But what set Frank Vincent apart from the rest was his ability to portray characters with such authenticity, it was like he wasn't even acting. This guy could take on any role and make it his own. Whether he was playing a menacing mobster or a tough-talking cop, he brought an intensity that was electrifying. You could feel the anger, the passion, the sheer badassery radiating off the screen.
And let's not forget about those eyes. Oh, those eyes. They had a depth to them, a glimpse into a soul that had seen some dark corners of this world. When Frank looked at you, it was like he was peering into your very essence, sizing you up, and making you question everything you thought you knew. That stare could pierce through steel, and it would send shivers down your spine.
But what really made Frank Vincent unforgettable was his comedic timing. He had this wicked sense of humor, this quick wit that could catch you off guard and have you laughing until your sides hurt. It was that perfect blend of toughness and humor that made him so damn captivating. He could make you root for the bad guy, make you question your own morals, and then have you snorting with laughter all in the same scene.
So, let's raise our glasses to the late, great Frank Vincent, a man who truly left his mark on the world of acting. He didn't play by the rules, he carved his own path, and he made damn sure nobody would ever forget him. As Bill Hicks would say, "Frank Vincent was a true original, a rebel, and he reminded us all what it means to be alive."
Storyline kept me watchin , I guess that’s all that matters!
“All they wanna do is fuckin’ eat” FUCKING HILARIOUS 😂 58:44

The legendary Pat Cooper as the attorney at 0:55:57. 🤣
Anyone who implicates himself so deeply in a criminal task with The Mob should realize in advance that he's gonna get clipped. Esp since their robbery was such a huge, one-time operation.
It might have gone differently had the two young associates been involved in a long-term business arrangement. This one however was finished. And so were they from the moment the Boss collected his last billion.
R.I.P.FRANK,VINCENT
Good flick..."This Thing of Ours". I've seen Goodfellas and Godfather 300x combined. Not everyone has multimillion dollar budgets. Nice job guys!
The reason it didn't have a big budget is because smart people don't invest in garbage! Not even James Caan, Frank Vincent or Vincent Pastore could save this bomb!
As comparable 300x my final relaxation film of a kind settled on these two `Bronx tale` and "Taxi driver".
Snaggle Toothed he had connections even inside and plenty of money to buy his early freedom he was released and then kicked the bucket shortly after
Now you know why movies need budgets because they end up with garbage like this movie😂
