Nice setup. I have the same tank with a betta, five corys and a small bushynose pleco. I added a small sponge filter & SunSun 603B canister filter. For less than $30, I figured what the heck. Algae problem is gone. Water is crystal clear. The light seems to be enough for my live sword plants too.

@@adityakalra1522 I know I am late replying... but if you can boil your driftwood in a large pot, it gets the tannins out very quickly. If it is too large for a pot, I submerge in a bathtub with hot water. Drain and refill with hot water as it turns yellow. Usually just 1 day and 3-4 tub refills.
Foracal Satoe I have one only flaw is that bc it is a tall the Betta will flow down a lot it looks funny but idk if he ever didn’t like it but other than that its a great tank
So I’d just purchased think tank and the filter that it came with fails to pump water. I’ve checked that nothing is clogged, the impeller spins, the filter does make noise, I have the proper amount of water, and the filter stands correctly on the frame. Do you think you’d be able to give any advice?
@@pabloescobar34 Thanks Jesse. I actually went to PetSmart and showed them the video. They told them that they don't carry that kind of submersible filter. Thanks anyway. I am in Canada so I guess our PetSmart carries different stock than the PetSmart in US. Recently I purchased the same top fin tank for my daughter. I can say so far so good.....the top fin filter came with the tank is a bit too weak so I just want to get some idea in how to improve the filtering.
I don’t know about the aquaclear but I do know a penguin 100 fits well with the lid closed and that’s rated for a 20 gallon. An just for an FYI, glofish look remarkable in this tank.
mark smitheyer I had that problem with a glofish cycle light clip on. Which is why I wanted a tank with the lights included and so far it’s held up like a champ and I have it on 24 hours practically with a bubbler going full blast.
Jesse Gaflin No i had a heater that was smaller. I don't have any glowfish. But watch one of my earlier videos so u can see what the blue light looks like.

I soaked it for about ten days. I had to trim it a little for it to fit.

I'm sure u can buy a replacement light or LEDs to use when they go out. I've had the tank for over a year and haven't had any issues with the lights.

Sometimes u need to to pour water in it to prime it. If not take it back

i put a mirror on the back of my tank so it will hide the heater and other things
