Dreamcatcher and [PLAY COLOR] is made for each other, the visuals, the camera work, the vocals, the choreo... Everything fits perfectly!!!
Honestly, I vastly prefer this live performance over the Official Maison MV. Yeah, all of the CG in the actual Dreamcatcher video is cool, but this live multi-cam setup gives a lot of sweet close-up shots and frames the choreography with angles that really highlight the beautiful & intricate flow between the members. Also, the lighting effects make the whole video-shoot pop! Great job! 👍🏽👍🏽
Honestly, when I hear k-rock, Dreamcatcher is the first one that comes to mind. But it's not just any type of rock, it's a Dreamcatcher genre that is all their own. While other groups and bands may already be trying to incorporate a similar sound, nothing will touch the deukae sound. The voices of these girls are highly distinguishable yet beautifully molds in one melody. One cannot be apart from the other. I truly appreciate Genie's efforts on showing off their artistry with these astounding shots and vibes. No over the top effects nor unrealistic edits, just 7 awesome, world-class talents! 🤘
There should be more pop rock in Korean music. Rock itself was more popular back in the days but it should definitely come back
Maybe unrelated to DC, but once I stumbled across a song that looks like k-rock. All I can recalled it somehow has the words 'poison' or 'ivy'.

@@syahmiyusop poison is a song by pink fantasy if I remember correctly. It incorporates some metal elements but is totally different form Dreamcatcher in my opinion. Ivy doesn't sound familiar to me so I dunno what that could be.

세상에 다미가 버튼 클릭하며 시작해줬을 줄이야... 벌써 무대 기강 다 잡아놓으셨다!!! 그리고 제가 제일 좋아하는 그레이+블랙 의상이라니! 또 영상보면서 조명이 핑크빛인데 핑크가 아닌거 같네 하고 보니 와일드 오렌지였군요! 이번 앨범 컨셉과 딱맞는 색이죠 (앨범 A버전 배경도 황사색?이라 와일드 오렌지였는데 딱인듯요!) 아무튼 카메라 워킹은 플레이컬러가 항상 제맘속 1순위라고 생각해요!! 산만하지않고 딱딱 움직여서 완전 제 스타일! 게다가 거기에 멤버들의 표정연기는 덤~~~ 아이고 댓글 쓰면서 보니 벌써 영상이 끝났네요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 다시보기 또 하러 가보겠습니다. more than the coreography, the director and the cameramen did a perfect job in the close up shots!! it's insanely good how the cameras are placed exactly where needed to highlight the performance of the girl that is singing in that moment, and also to provide nice transitions whan a girl in the front moves aside to reveal another one.

I second Endless Night (they worked with some coldrain members on this one I think), Break the Wall, Tension where they play the most with distortion and instruments.
Their nightmare series has some more traditional(?) rock influence, I think (their newer stuff seems more playful with the genres). I suggest "What", "Piri", "Good Night"

When people ask for amazing camerawork, THIS is what we mean!!!! The song, the powerful choreography, and dreamcatcher combined with this god tier camerawork made an incredible performance video. I also got to see Siyeon kick me in 4k so like 20/10. Every time they do a play color video I rewatch it endlessly.
