  • We recently announced the opening of registration for Kim Eng's Resist Nothing.
You might be wondering, "OK, but what do you mean when you say 'resist nothing'?"
"Resistance is having an antagonistic relationship with life," explains Eckhart Tolle. "Constant resistance is the most common state of consciousness. However, everything changes when you shift out of this state of negativity and denial. Peace, joy, aliveness, creativity, drama-free relationships-all of these and more await you when you live in alignment with the present moment."
Beginning on April 25, 2022, and featuring a session with Eckhart, the course includes:
    Session One: Surrendering Resistance
Our first session presents an overview of the inner phenomenon of resistance and how it manifests in our lives.
    Session Two: Restoring Physical Flow
Our second session helps us release physical tension and begin to embody Presence more fully.
    Session Three: Restoring Emotional Flow
In our third session, Kim offers guidance in healing and releasing stuck emotional energy.
    Session Four: Restoring Subtle-Body Flow
Our final session brings us teachings and practices for balancing and attuning life-force energy.
Resist Nothing also brings you four Q&A sessions with Kim, along with guided meditations and Presence Through Movement practices to deepen your ability to integrate all of these teachings into your daily life.
Join Kim Eng and Eckhart Tolle for a life-changing, four-part journey of exploration into the nature and experience of resistance on the physical, emotional, and energetic levels, culminating in the discovery of its antidote in the practice of spiritual surrender and allowing what is. We hope to see you in the course!

The moral of the story...enjoy the journey, stop focusing on the destination taking you out of the present moment. And when you get so present as to lose the sense of Ego, or personal identity you can merge with source, your true identity..or the quantum field and from there you can learn how to consciously create your life...otherwise your subconscious programming, or the "pain body" is creating it for you...GET PRESENT. LIVE CONSCIOUSLY. Namaste

I am in the dysfunctional state. I don’t know where or what I want to be, so right now practically everything is an unpleasant obstacle. I’m not just resisting the present moment - I am actively fighting it. My fists are up, my heels are dug in, and I am beyond angry about it. It is draining, frustrating - and unfortunately, I don’t know how to do anything differently. While I desperately wish there was someone I could tell off for being in this state, the worst part is that I think the person I need to tell off is me! And that in itself is even more aggravating! This stuff is very confusing and frustrating.

In the book Steps to Knowledge, this present moment experience is expressed as "the desire to see." "To see with clear vision means you are not seeing with preference. It means that you are able to perceive that which is actually occurring rather than that which you wish to see. There is something actually occurring beyond your wishes... The desire to see, then is the desire to see a greater truth. This requires a greater honesty and a greater openness of mind... When the mind is open, it experiences its own depth, and it experiences the depth of what it is perceiving." (Steps to Knowledge, Marshall Vian Summers)

Essence of whole teaching in this video
To the spiritual seekers i would like to offer few pointers from my own experience and point of view.
    In regards of the video.
All the seeking happens in personal level. The person is looking themselfs and their "enlightenment" from their minds.
Mind is only active in time.
All the seeking is looking towards in time which is resistance to present moment, waiting for better moment is also saying this moment is not good enough for me.
In presence the "seeker" dies. It does not exist in presence. Real you does.
Only 1 step is needed. Stepping back from time to presence.
    it is instant.

Because I could not do away with this voice. It is a dysfunctional state and I have lost my sense of joy completely :-(

Stress is resistance itself. Stress reduces quality of life and makes the body more susceptible to illness and disease. According to the American Psychological Association, chronic stress is linked to the six leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

When I try and put myself to sleep, or back to sleep, I try forcing myself to focus only on these words, together with breathing. When I inhale, my thought is “I breath In because I am light and love.” When I exhale, my thought is”I let go of what doesn’t serve me.” I don’t let other thoughts in, only focus on that and breath.

Ever since our birth, the society and as well as we ourselves unconsciously programmed/ conditioned ourselves to always dislike the present moment which is life itself. And it's an insane way to live. Imagine a fish hating the water, that is same as we're disliking the present moment. Unless we reprogram ourselves to like/enjoy/accept the present moment, we will be in constant state of stress, anxiety, tension and dissatisfaction until we die.

Hi, Eckhart ! I think, and something observe inside that thought, that the very difficult part in awakining is letting go of the past. Because lot of identification with the past situations and emotions. How to let go ? Lots of energies is that past, in our body too. So, like Einstein said once, "You cannot solve the problem with the same mind that produced the problem", what mind to use? Because understanding is need it. Seams to not be enough to know, or even feel that I am the consciousness and not the recogniscion of the fact that everyone acts on the level of they're consciousness at the time, and neighter that the ego is the one that is hanging on suffering from the past. What to do? I see how I react and I wanna change. I try to feel my emotions but I don't know if I do it right or the mind is telling me :"Oh, good job! or "You never make it because you don't know how to feel an emotion, nobody can help you because that is an inside work and nobody can tell you if you got 10 or 4 to you're homework". I see is just a thought but how I react on others make me put this question.
    Thank you ❤️

This is of course just part of an affirmation I say every day

Sometimes The Now is enough. Yesterday I was fixing the allay that takes to where I live shoveling and hoeing gravel. After a while I stopped, my body was hurting, it was enough. While I was doing that the thought of slaves came to my mind. How can you do that all day long and for several days without the freedom to say: 'I'm done for today'?
    Sometimes meditation is 'imposed'.

  • @theartexperiencebynicole4570

I don’t trust the isness of the present moment. And since the life is in and as my present moment , therefore when you resist the present moment you are living in a right of passage to LIFE. The achieving is inside of you. Un conditioning mind pattern is what gets us below thinking. So that we can all see and observe from a place of non judgement. The pattern of society that keeps us low to the ground. Where did you get picked up for your book deal? Please explain what presence means when you spoke about just sitting down and being present and writing that book A New Earth?

  • @jeanshareux2090
    @jeanshareux2090 Před 2 lety

It seems there are things I'm not able yet fully understand. I am aware of the ego and pure consciousness and I am able to tap into the presence often (not for a long time, but still). I still have a constant battle in my head. One part of me wants to just be present, enjoy every second of life, feel the energy of everything and live calmly in the mountains in a small house. But the other part of me wants to build something big, earn something (yeah even money - not to be better and more rich than others and build strong ego, but to enjoy some normally unavailable things and secure my family), and be reckognized somehow in this world. If I'm in a fully present state i have tendency to really not care about anything and I have no desire to build something in this world. Yet the state is enjoyable, but the other part of me wants to do these things, not egoisticly, but to achieve and make this world a better place not just for myself, but others. As you type about lose of your sense of identity (name, job etc.) - Somehow I really don't want to do it. I respect my parents and I want to make them proud and honor them and I don't want to lose my identity, my name, all good aspects of my personality and the way I am. Yet I wan't to live fully in present without EGO. When I obtained my college degree it seemed that my parents were more happy about that than me. I want to be happy about my achievements and share the happiness with them but in the present moment it seems I can't do it. So I'm very confused about that and it's a thing I somehow cannot understand yet. I don't know if y'all understand me, but I would be glad if there's somebody who could explain this to me..... As well as a person with a yet small company with few employees I have to sometimes be authoritative. Sometimes I need to use negative motivation and be tougher than normally on them. If I want to build something.. something which the society will benefit from I just need to do it. Everybody knows that and it's a concept which is done for a decades and it's working like that. If i wouldn't do it, my employees (as a normal people) would instantly use me or use it to somehow cheat on the job and thus slow the grow of the thing I want to build. I need to be performance oriented to do my job right. Yet it seems I am not able to do it in pure present state. I am really wondering about how to connect the business focused on performance and the present moment and living without ego. How to work harder than other companies and still be present and without ego. I am really battling with myself and I can't understand it yet.

Never been able to accept my body. I see myself in the mirror ugh. I am 65 all my life have found things not to like about my body, too fat when I was not fat at all. Then later I did gain weight and only then did I realize that fact. I was told I was fat by my mother daily, or she would ask have you gained some weight. Not allowed to eat ice cream or cakes when the rest of the family did cause I was told you are too fat. Accept myself as is that would be wonderful.

Already wanting to be @ the end of this current activity.
So you want to arrive more @ the end of this particular activity than be engaged @ this activity.
So this dysfunctional state greatly diminishes the quality of your life. Because your life is the present moment.
    The result is stress.
Not to resist the isness of the present moment. What arises in the present moment.
When you resist the present moment you are living in an antagonistic relationship w/ Life.
No matter then what you achieve, if that is your conditioned mind pattern you will never arrive @ a place of joy or happiness or inner peace.
