    Increase the sheltered space under your Falcon Awning with the Falcon 270 Awning Walls from 23ZERO.
    Ideal for use as a wind or weather break, these walls are made from 320gsm polycotton ripstop canvas, and come in two sections - Wall A and Wall B, which can be used together or separately for more shade beside your vehicle.
    In this video, the Snowys crew headed down to the Caravan and Camping Show in Adelaide at the 23ZERO stand to give you a rundown on the features of the Falcon 270 Awning Walls.
    Ben starts out with a close up of the fabric and construction, where the two separate walls join up, attachment points for your guy ropes, set up options, then he heads inside to show you how much shelter you have plus more - so check it out above for all the details.

    how big of a footprint are the walls when they are in their bags? Also, is it at all possible to leave the walls on when pack the awning away?

      Hi Jay, packed up in their bags the walls measure about 45 x 35 cm and about 15cm in height and weigh in at about 4Kg, check out all the details here - www.snowys.com.au/peregrine-270-awning-wall-a, www.snowys.com.au/peregrine-270-awning-wall-b.
      You will have to remove them for pack up as the cover isn't big enough to accommodate all the extra fabric.

    I'm considering the Peregrine 270 for use with a 5th gen Toyota 4Runner. Is there any issues with the rear hatch door hitting the awning poles? Will I be able to fully open the read door? Thanks!

      It's hard to comment on this sorry, BoiseG, 23Zero have used one less rafter at the rear specifically to allow more room for lift up tailgates, exactly how this works with each vehicle is somewhat dependent on how it is installed. It's likely that it will work and the tailgate will just push into the fabric a little as opposed to hitting a pole/rafter, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of the geometry of it all if you put the dimensions of car and awning together as best you can before purchasing.

    Is there much difference between this, and the 23zero osprey 270? Also, i don't suppose this can link up with the annex on the RTT?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety +1

      It's mainly the size, Jacob. The Osprey has one pivot point and four arms, the Peregrine has 5 arms from two pivot points and provides more coverage. There aren't any specific links to attach to an annex sorry. ~ Ben

    Would water seep through the zip?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      Theres a storm flap on the outside that covers the zip connections @Mohd Aziz Jaafar , so they're not directly exposed to weather.

    What's the difference between 23 zero falcon peregrine too 23 zero peregrine

      They are pretty much the same, just a name change. 23Zero seem to do this a bit with their names. ~ Ben

    And pack up?

      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem

      We didn't go that far in this video, sorry, we were at a show and they didn't want us to pack the walls away completely. They just fold up like a tarp though, nothing tricky. ~ Ben

    Just another same old same old. Why can someone not make the walls so that the bottom fold inside then you can pack it down with your cooler and sand bags ext.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem

      I guess there are limited ways to build a side wall, Jaco333. Usually if there is a flap at the bottom if slopes away from the tent in order to shed water, but I do see how what you are referring to could be handy in some instances. ~ Ben

    Yep I have the walls. No paperwork instructions and extremely difficult to zip. Would not recommend! It's a zipper and literally make it so difficult for one person to do. Never had issues with other companies.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, I haven't seen instructions included with many 23Zero accessories. You can generally work it out but I do hope they include more information with these products in the future.
      Most of these awning walls do attach with zippers though, I didn't find this one any harder than Darche or Oztent equivalents.
