- Hello everybody! I am very happy to bring the first new video of the month and that itis this gem of #NeverHaveIEver. The first part of this video was in the oven for a while but I preferred season 2 to premiere to bring a more complete story.
I should start by saying that by the end I have a hunch that Devi and Ben will be the real Endgame and I am completely cool with that. (I really like him a lot and like Devi I have a hard time choosing between these two guys)
But Paxton has a special place in my heart and that's why I love the ending and for him to have a chance before seeing where the story will end. I think that many people who are Team Ben are very unfair to Paxton and all his qualities (which in this season we were able to see more, luckily) I think that from the first season there is he has a genuine interest on Devi but that he has problems expressing it and I also think that his mistakes (like Devi's) don't come from a place of evil.
Their story in my opinion is full of tender moments (And some sexy, which is unbearable with Paxton) and I am here for it all.
I hope you like this video, I always try to do the best I can in the shortest time and your likes and comments make me happy.
(By the way Paxton coming through the window gives me many vibes of adolescent love in fiction and I love it)

I love how more comfortable Devi got around Paxton. They're not so awkward anymore like they used to be. And Devi is seeing a different side of Paxton, not just his body but the real Paxton. Also no matter how mad he was at Devi, he could never stay away for too long. He was always there when Ben wasn't.

Me seeing the TikTok comments of Ben having a brown girl fetish and me watching the show and I was just like tiktoks right. You right tiktok. He moved on from the first brown girl in the class to the next brown girl in the class like sheeeeshhhh. And it was like overnight too
In my opinion I don’t think Paxton right for Devi I mean I just think the way he treats her is just messed up because he was ashamed to even be seen with her in public whereas Ben at least had the decency to talk to her and let her know she wasn’t alone

Yes paxton is more like the cool guy, but he NEVER left her if she needed him. He always been there for her. Supported her by everything, he was mad at the beginning but he was also so scared to losing her. devi is so different to the other girls. She is down to earth! she is kind & nice, so helpful and also beautiful !! that is one thing that ben never saw in her, it was paxton

I think that u forgot to say something! Even tho they are now in a RELATIONSHIP he has to hold hands with Devi cause clearly he is still ashamed, because if he wasn't, he wouldn't let his head down in shame when he passed his friends at the ball! And don't forget that in this season too, someone had to remind him of Devi's merits and efforts ... and that doesn't seem like real love to me as you all say. My opinion is that compared to Paxton, Ben has always been with her and realized the effort she makes in her relationship with Paxton, but unfortunately Paxton does not realize that. Peace! ✌😙

Fear might be a possible scenario like fear of judgement and stuff, and also look at the larger scale of things he walked into a dance he literally doesnt attend, holding the hand of a girl and escorting her inside and dancing with her in front of THE WHOLE SCHOOL thats like a declaration of "we are dating"
Paxton is the kinda character who calls you pal and avoids any situation which could be misread as a possible hint towards anything romantic or just laugh about such presumptions and say it would have never worked out etc incase hes 'ashamed' of smth (which is a dick move ngl) so the head bowing shit aint smth he will do.
Anyways back to the prev para, that's probably why jonah (idk how his names spelled) also nodded in approval at paxton finally doing smth to redeem his douchey behaviour and that's also why elenor was so shocked and smiled afterwards cause finalllyyy dude did the right thing.
Team Paxton all the way! He was the one who always helped Devi with the coyote and out of the pool.. Ben was just lonely at that time, but they’re definitely bestfriends vibes.

I feel like Ben replaced Devi with another Indian girl to get revenge and that's really messed up. Meanwhile Paxton just focused on his grades and wanted to do better and be himself, that's why they got closer at the end, cuz both of them got real with each other.

I hate when people were saying “he felt ashamed to be with her” like, they very clearly make the distinction that, no. He wasn’t ashamed to be with her. She hurt him by cheating on him, and then chasing him in front of a car. Obviously he would be worried what others think of him if decided to date that same person (and honestly, so would everyone else. Don’t act like you’re better than that). But also, look at how much he publicly did for Devi even before that. He rushed to her aid at the coyote, pushing many people aside, and even with the pool. And, he still showed up at the face. When it truly came to Devi’s well-being, he cared for her.
Paxton literally changed for Devi.. he chose to be with her instead of being the cool popular guy

She saw what none saw in Paxton she helped him to be a better person. He realized that being someone like him he needs someone like Devi in his life. They are meant for each other because Paxton proved us that he cares for Devi and Devi proved him that he is more than just a cool mean kid. They both changed in a good way and saw something in each other none saw even through Paxton took awhile he did.

I like them both & see advantages to both but I think this is what will be what decides who I want her to end up with (still have to watch s3 ik Ben gets better than he was in s2) though… Ben has the potential but whether it’s his fight to prove himself w his parents etc he’s letting his pride get the best of him esp with the jealousy. He seems to have the same issue as Devi not believing in the good Devi could like him for so he gets overly jealous & spiteful ironically running over those good sides. :/ And the jocks are the ones who are supposed to have the pride issues! Paxton here decided to get over that for her & stop holding her mistakes over her. In S2 at least, Ben doesn’t out of hurt and whether justified hurt or not that’s still manipulation that could be too easy to subconsciously turn into an emotional abusive relationship so that wouldn’t be healthy for either of them, especially if he can’t get over comparing himself to Paxton & thinking she put Paxton first. (In the end, I also agree with all the people saying she needs some time being single and figuring herself out at some point but I hope they still show who she eventually chooses or even better: a spin-off of her going to college 🙏🏻)

I was team Ben in the first season. Even up until the beginning of s2 i was team Ben. But I love how they gave him a proper character arc and made him more than a hot person who has no drive or goals. They have chemistry. And for someone with Paxton's popularity, after being cheated on with the supposed nerd that too publicly, it would be difficult to accept her back. But their bond developed in a natural not so forced way. He not only dated her publicly again but also saw her as more than her bad decisions and trusted that she had become a better person. Idk I feel like Ben and her had a BIG fallout moment and Ben really could NOT redeem himself this time. Yeah sure he was there for her when Paxton rejected her but he really cannot be saying 'it's always him' after he was the one who picked aneesa over her

Ben is conceited, and very rude and maybe it is just hide his loneliness but if u think about he is only nice to someone he needs something or is in love with you. He uses people to gain popularity (as did devi) by being with Shira and only talking to Trent and the others for party purposes, i mean i get he has no friends, but maybe if he wasnt so “annoying” (as Fabiola put it) and didnt wanna show off all the time as a mask of his loneliness maybe he wouldn’t be so alone. Typical enemies to lovers storyline, normally i dont dislike the guy so much, Ben was just annoying to everyone not just Devi, except to the popular kids. The one and only argument of Bevi stans is that he has more in commen with devi and so it makes more sense?
Paxton is popular, but i dont think by choice, people just gave him that status because of his looks and for a long time thats all he thought he had to offer. But if youve seen the show i did, u would see that he is actually a nice person. I mean he didnt embarrass Devi when he found out she lied about them having sex, which Ben Gross definitely would have if he had been mad or something. He generally is not the mean one of the group and u can tell by the way he looks around at everyone when he says something to devi or made her do all his homework, trying to hide how uncomfortable he is by the way he just acted. He helped Devi out of embarrassing situations multiple times eventhough he didn’t have to do that. The way he protects his sister from ppl making fun, shows that he knows how his friends are but he is not the same. The only thing that really stood in his way were his conflicted views on status and his ego, once he overcame that, he became full package.Typical friends to lovers storyline that formed quite naturally if u ask me.
@@morehenrie the gave Paxton a really good character development this season. If they hadn't, FOR SURE I'd be team Ben this time too. But Benny ma boi didn't do anything to help himself. First he was mean to her, then he resorted to being hostile to devi (understandable but in comparison to how Paxton acted, not really) THEN he went ahead and dated HER FRIEND as if it was just to spite her, and he didn't even stop to think once that maybe devi has been trying so hard to fix things and make amendments with everyone because she wants to be on good terms with him!!!!
Paxton this season really came through. He proved he was more than just a hot jock. He had ideas and intelligence. He was a driven person. He accepted that he was bad at something which isn't easy for someone who's always been good at what he does, like swimming (when he said he got the butterfly stroke right the first time itself) he has personality, problems and he deals with them and overcomes them. Ben just ignores his issues and covers them up with showing off or a know-all attitude
Its clear writers gave season 1to Ben and 2 to Paxton. They have kept showing Ben never stopped liking Devi so Season 3 they duke it out. Ben assumed she had zero interest when she ran to Pax so naturally trued to get over her but he was meanest of the 2 since he was most hurt. Pax had a bruised ego and also needed her help so ofcourse he'd forgive sooner. A big difference.
I mean devi did paxton wrong twice. Like first she lied about they slept and then she dated with both paxton and ben and at that rate paxton still coming back to devi is amazing.

I must say that I am kinda team Paxton from the start.. even though Paxton is the hottest guy in school, however there is this side of Paxton who truly loves his sister and he appreciates and likes Devi from the start because she really respects his sister. Ben is caring sometimes to Devi but Paxton is more mature. Paxton was ashamed of Devi after the scandal...not because of "crazy Devi". When Devi was two timing him with Ben, Pax really showed he was going out with Devi in front of people. And even though Devi is kinda ruin Pax's opportunity to go to college, he is really a grown up man for still want to approach her to be his tutor. Really still want them to be endgame in S3.
My hopes for Season 3 : Devi pushes Paxton to start swimming again for a scholarship. Swimming cant be over.. something she "took away" i put it in quotes bc its not like she told him to stop in the middle of the street or hit him with the car..
Devi doesn't date anyone. Shes a mess... if she hurts Paxton again, i'll die. Better not happen bc i say she single in hopes she realizes she's messy and eventually can come full circle back to him.they HAVE TO END UP TOGETHER.
Last, but not least, eleanor and trent have to happen.

Paxton before used to be such a jerk in season 1 (no offence), bc Devi had a crush on him since third grade and Paxton ignored her, even high school. Which is why I used to be on Team Ben because of their kiss. Now s2 Paxton has changed and realised his feelings for Devi. But bc of Ben and Devi, he couldn’t be with her also because of Devi’s 2 boyfriends fiasco. Now the last episode, it gave Devi and Paxton a chance to be together. Which is why Ben should support their relationship in s3 and not try and sabotage their relationship which he definitely will and I seriously don’t want him too. Devi and Paxton are endgame. I only see Devi and Ben as really close best friends.

I think something that really makes me team paxton:
when you look at ben vs paxton, they've both clearly have done a lot for devi and they both have clearly hurt devi a lot too. Something ben had over paxton was the fact that ben was academically smarter and challenging for devi. But this season clearly took that advantage away. Paxton can stand on his two feet academically and has developed his character a lot. He's developed his relationship with devi so much. Yea, what a terrible move to try to make her be in a secret relationship but he redeemed himself by the end of the season. Paxton chose devi over the only thing he thought he had going for him: his popularity and his status. He did that because devi taught him that he had more than that. There are so many other reasons why I'm team paxton, but this has just been on my mind today
Honestly, this show can go any way. The show writers did a great job. I can't stop thinking about when Devi got caught cheating and she said she "just liked them both so much" she was staring at ben and I don't know what it means.
If they go down with Daxton as end game then I would really love to see (and I would assume it would go where) Devi chooses Paxton, just like how Paxton chose Devi this season, over anyone else and overcomes her insecurities. And then season four would be about things such as long distances and big changes to life since paxton is a year older.
If she ends up with Paxton, I'd love it. If she ends up with ben i'd be slightly disappointed but i would still understand. If she ends up as a single independent woman, great because I think it's amazing to normalize being single to love yourself or simply because you don't want to be in a relationship with anyone.

I love this show so much. ❤️ It is truly one of the greats. The characters grab your attention from the very start. And had this show of come out when I was in high school, I very well may have done the same thing with my high school crush. She is so confident in who she is even though in private she is so insecure. Paxton is the typical jock, but when Devi enters his life he realizes he wants to see the world through her eyes. There is something about them and you can tell In the way he looks at her. With Ben it's more friends. Ben doesn't have the ability to help her grow through her grief like Paxton. Ben really only wants Devi when she (an independent person) needs him periodically. But Paxton cares about her bc even though she prompted him for sex, SHE couldn't go through with it NOT him. It was something that he never experienced before. Rejection. He put in the effort with her. Team Paxton ALL THE WAY. 💕💕💕
