I’m currently balling my eyes out since I lost my cat Simba this morning due to a seizure and having to put him down. I feel like I truly lost a huge part of myself. Just having Jay’s videos on for background noise helps me feel a little bit better and not so empty. You probably won’t see this Jay but thank you for being such a big part of my life and happiness, I don’t know what I’d do without you and your videos.

Yan Dev is lucky to have this man as a supporter. The level of professionality yo separate this game from Yan dev is unprecedented. Yet here's Jay displaying it casually.
I agree… but it’s fairly easy to separate the art from the artist. YanSim is great; the Dev isn’t, and that’s that.

I like how you have to earn someone's trust before you can do a task for them, reminds me of how Budo requires you to befirend his club before he gives you his task.
I don't want it for EVERY character and EVERY rival, but maybe later rivals in the main game with have you do that, like the teacher won't give you her task unless you have perfect attendence in school, so no missing classes and no being late until her week, it'll make going to class a bigger priority if you want to get her task
I doubt mida rana would care about attendance considering her "character" she'd probably want you to prove that she can trust you don't know how tho

I like how creative the tasks are! They’re much more robust than the older tasks, and they also teach you certain game mechanics along the way. It makes me really excited to see what all of the NPC tasks will be like in the final game.

what's the task for the girl who requires you to have 10 friends? i wish Jay didn't skip that one because he befriended the previous 7 rivals + 1 boy so he could have just made 2 friends; or maybe circled back to her after all 10 weeks since he would have had 10 friends at the end.
Her final task To have 20 friends in total 💀. Around her week it’s not that hard to have to many friends because you probably have already made a lot of friends during the previous weeks

Hi Jay! Regarding the $1,000 task, I do believe that there is a less tedious and more quick of making money. You could complete the yakuza task for a specific delinquent, kidnap somebody, and sell then to the yakuza for a ransom of (typically) more than $1,000. I’m not completely certain that this is more practical, but it’s still another way.

I'm not sure when you're doing another Yandere simulator episode, but there are two things I want to mention about 1980s mode.
#1: Kill 1 (or all if you want the challenge) of the student council members in 1980s mode. See which character is shown for the "Security cameras and metal detectors are now at school" scene.
#2: Be box-chan in the headmaster's office in 1980s mode. I think you'll get a kick out of his lines ;)

I can't believe i've been a fan for a decade, almost, because in 2014 was the year i found jay's first Yandere sim video! and well, that led to years of enjoying his content! i really love how far he's come, he genuinely brings me so much joy and i have massive respect over the fact he doesn't take shit, he stands his ground and he's literally that dude, THIS MAN RIGHT HERE, yeah him, he made my childhood because i'm going 17 this year, i know he won't read this but, i love you man.

For the task of the 5th rival, there is another way to earn money. One of the delequents has this task which is to help him beat a gang he got in a conflict with. Once you finished his task (Only takes a day), it's gonna unlock `Yazuka` which is his older brother. Yazuka will give you a contraband for free for helping his little brother, then, you can make a deal in which you kidnap some rich girls at the school and then give them to him for ransom. Each girl is atleast 1 000.

Ooh, is Yandev turning 1980s mode into a tutorial? It IS demonstrating a lot of game mechanics such as interests and the maid cafe minigame. This, along with Info-Chan's schemes, would be such a neat way to wrap up the wiki dependant issue lots of indie games fall into. This would introduce mechanics ingame.
