    The mayor sounds just like a politician. Why is theTrinity in this state? The people of Dallas and the leadership of Dallas see it as a dumping ground. Your story might help in the long run.

      ​@@EDD519the trinity river is the only river I've seen that after it rains it turns a very unnatural green and starts to burn your eyes whatever is in there gets stirred up and whatever it is doesn't even allow the mud to get stirred up ,it has to be the most heavily polluted river in texas

    It depends on what part your in. In ft worth it really has cleaned up in the past ten years so much that people jet ski and canoe in it as ten years ago no one would have even stuck toe In the trinity.

      I would never do anything in the Dallas Trinity river that would splash it's water near any opening of my body !!!

    Shouldn’t Texas Priorities cleaning their rivers? Especially keeping factories and farms from polluting this river? I see rain drains with wires to stop trash from getting in, but not all of them have that. Itll clean itself once they make sure pollution stops.

      I think rivers manage to clean themselves downstream but yes, the factories/plants should be regulated.

    I go down there all of the time with my son and it truly is beautiful , sure there is trash being dumped here and there but its not that bad and the water doesnt look very pollutted other than floating trash piles . You can park at the dowdy ferry park and walk for miles and only see wildlife .

      @@jessepancamo8449 It extends from the Red and Blue Line Viaduct that parallel Corinth Road; serpents below and beside Cedar Crest and then spreads all across Southeast Dallas, including Lower White Rock to the North, I-45 and Joppa to the West, I-20 to the South and Pemberton Rd to the East.

      I've eaten some panfish from that water a couple years ago and I'm still alive, didnt get sick then either

    Lol you all have no idea what lies benieth neither do I or else why would everybody ignore the fact that there were no pillars on the building in Oklahoma City but there were on the exact same looking building in Durant that's what made it the fn capitol don't lie I may be slow but I'm not completely ignorant and no I'm not a Shriner I'm just stating a fact!

    The Trinity is more like a creek, than a river. Dallas and Fort Worth’s only geographical asset, is barely recognizable.
