I think you forgot to talk about the ground resistance comparison.
I already have the char, the kunze, and the AE. Should I get the cobra or this tank? I don't pay for improved battle pass cuz I'm free to play, and that one is cheaper, which one is more fun?

I'm surprised he didn't compare it to the Kunze Panzer since that TD has a very similar siege mode mechanic to the medium.
He always tends to compare tanks with the most similar as in its a TD so he compares it to other TD. But I also thought that as soon as he started talking because the Kunze is literally the medium version of this tank lol
This tank doesn't behave like the Kunze from a leaving and entering the siege mode to increase DpM. The vehicle would have reloaded before the 6 seconds it takes!
@@QuickyBabyTV can you please confirm if we have to press a button to enter/exit siege mode, exactly like the Kunze or Swedish TD's, or is it like the Swedish MT's which enter siege mode automatically after a sec (or so) after you fully depressed your gun?

In the german StuG IV there is a Loader-Radiomen combined that will fit in this Panzer
I think the major plus point for this tank might be that it is more comfortable with coming around corners. I dont think you could have killed that arty the same way in a strv. Seems way more mobile as it doesnt necessarily needs to go into siege Mode for those sneaky shots in close combat. But it could be also a Personal Problem for me to come around corners in my swedish tds.
Thanks Quicky. That was a very in depth review of a very ODD tank. I play the StrvB and UDES a lot and was a little worried this would have all the weaknesses and none of the strengths of those tanks. It just seems a little opposite compared to them but still pretty good. There will be a learning curve as you said.
Something simple like locking tank traverse also locking the suspension would be nice.
Great video QB! I have one suggestion though- after just purchasing the tier 9 swedish TD and selling the UDES at tier 8, i actually sort of miss the independent gun elevation. In certain positions, you can activate the hydropneumatic suspension and aim down as far as possible to elevate that rear of the tank. Then when you aim up, you're able to shoot over objects you normally couldn't!! And, once you've shot, simply switch modes and the tank will sink below the object and the enemies cant return fire. Works great in very specific positions (though more than you'd imagine). An example is on the beach of Overlord, behind the ship or behind the sand/rock, depending on what side you're on. I found it super funny, as on many occasions enemies would desperately try to shoot me, only to realize ive shrunk and disappeared. Worth a try!
Why you sell udes are you crazy?
Its like selling T30 or Leo PTA, Rhm, WT.
The tier 9 swede is a bit garbage. It loses the UDES speed, stealth and overall weirdness. The tier ten is soooo much better.
I love the Kunze, it and the Char are the two best options imho. The Kunze is not for everyone, but if you don't mind not having armor, it's novel, fun, and flexible.
Kunze is hard to play for sure unlike Char-Futur... I am very uncomfortable with Kunze of Kunfutze as I call it... I don't feel like driving a medium, more like a light mixed with a TD... It is weird tank...
I adore the kunze, very flexible, more so than even char or Leo, im nearly at my 2nd mark
Can you lock the gun in place like you would any other normal tank, but still be able to move your mouse and the suspension chnages and the gun doesn't move
That pneumatic drive seems very much like the Kunz and seems to add a lot of extraneous movement when trying to move and fire. Another tank that is best suited to sit still and snipe?
tanks without a turret in general are best suited for defensive roles, this completely non-existent fake tank is modelled after the Swedish strv 103 which worked very well
QB you said the only thing you "have" to spend before June are the points? is that correct? I thought tokens needed to be spent before December and points needed to be spent before November?

Where are the view range circles on the 1st game? I had that issue lately as well and couldn’t fix it. Advice, QB?
Now to an important question, have you flipped it yet?
5% less "accuracy" actually translate to 10.25% bigger aiming circle area, that mean you loss about 9.3% accuracy. This matter much when you play as sniper. But less affect in close combat.
Just got it this week. All your observations are spot on Q. Truly a challenge to play so far!
Did they screw some numbers up, or is it just straight up trash in seigemode for DPM, just so it's not a reskinned UDES?
Re: crew composition. I won't be getting this tank until Crew 2.0 is complete, standardizing the crews across all tanks.

QB is all about DPM. That's why he loves Vents and is willing to sacrifice 60% of a Bounty Aiming for 3/10 of a normal Rammer.
In practice, you rarely keep firing on reload unless your reload is under 4s then you might be using your DPM really often.
What you actually need is gun reliability, which is accuracy & either gun stabilization or aiming speed.
Running improved aiming on a tank with 0.25 dispersion XD
Vents not only improve DPM but also camo, soft stats, acc, etc... thats why alot of ppl (QB included) use it. But then, that's his opinion, u don't have to follow it, no?
i would agree if it was a slow reloading tank where missing a shot can really ruin your dpm, but this tank can actually shoot on reload so increasing those stats makes sense. If you are in a FV for example accuarcy is more important imo because missing that one shot is worse than having to wait a few seconds more if it means higher chance of actually hitting
@@phoenixfire9176 With Rammer, optics and bounty aiming the travel mode has 0.28 dispersion with 4000 dpm. Just run the tank primarily without siege mode, and use it only when you actually need gun depression.

im assuming this is based on the Marder chassis since it looks a lot like the bagel panzer from WT.
As with the Udes, you need to play differently than with the strv
The commander of the Marauder 38T will transfer into it, but that's the only one
so for average to below average(for one reason or another)..get this rather than the cobra???
This tank have much bigger hitbox than strv, Strv have 2 space amor plates above the track, the hull inside is much smaller than they look, like the Sheridan.
Just what we need, more tanks which encourage camping and discourage attacking
um but this tank encourages aggression to an extent as u can fire faster in travel mode
Waiting on the KPz 3 Pro Lite 07 HK, the tier 8 variant, or the KPz 3 Pro Max 07 HK, the tier 10 variant.
Will there be new "token heavy" tanks in the later stages of this years' Battle Pass? I already own Char Futur, AE Phase 1 and the Object 777 II and I am considering the options for the next purchase after I completed all stuff from the 3 episodes of the current Pass. So far I would go for Kunze but not if it is worth to spare the tokens. I'm not a fan of the BZ or the featured Kpz 3 so I'll pass on those.
Don't save those tokens to that BZ... any of the other tanks are better... Cobra is a nice laugh, but not so good in other terms...
Hey QuickyBaby love the content, I've been playing the game for nearly 11 years now but you still manage to teach me new things. I do have one quick question, I've been away from the game for quite some time and in that time they've added the BZ line of tanks. My question is if HE has any sort of overmatch and if so at what point does HE overmatch armor. I know any other round its 3x caliber vs armor but im not sure about HE either no one ever told me or i just some how forgot this info.
HE doesn't overmatch armour, just AP rounds.
Basically Bz tech tree is pretty okay. T10 has horrible weakspots but still okay armor. Be careful about the t8 prem Bz-176. Slaps 850 dmg with over 200mm of pen. Zooms 50 km/h with rockets. And has better armour than the t10 tech tree tank.
i got a qustion i play us and german tank i know german TD's hit hard but not that acr. i'm kinda lost on the us Heavy tanks thow. i have the T1 heavy going down the line will it be worth staying in the us or is their more better tank's?? i love to go head to head with other tanks just need to know what is the best heavy tank line in armo and damange. plz help me out i don't to pay to play i love the grind just need some good advice and sorry for the spelling.
It's fun, projekt 07 compared to udes 03, udes can shot over rocks, by looking fully down and then looking forward, udes would be able to increase the center of the gun above the any obstacle. By then leaving siege mode, the tank will lower itself, hiding behind rocks, it's an unique feature i used a lot in WoT, as a lot of tanks wouldn't be able to hit you, and you didn't have to move away from the obstacle, due to you being able to look over the obstacle, so while they're similar, it doesn't seem like projekt 07 is able to do this.
The 6 seconds to leave and enter the siege mode for only 360 alpha at T9 would be painful!
@@QuickyBabyTV I bet, but it's worth testing, if the reaction time of leveling out the tank is faster than it takes to leave siege mode, it would be a potential to camp behind rocks and solids, keeping you safe from plausibly spg and other shots, plus it forces you to reload faster. Click, exit siege, wait till there's 3-4 seconds left of reload time, enter siege, another shot, repeat. or even just wait out 10 seconds and shoot after the spotting cancels out
This tank is so weird. The breech of the gun is visible out in the open, but the crew is inside the thing? How would loading work?
Your problem is you think WoT tanks are realistic... most of the tanks in the game are make believe... if you want realistic play War Thunder... I play both...
Same. WoT is for fantasy tank warfare. And War Thunder if you want to play like more or less real tank warfare.

That crazy ass mode shift kinda kills the vehicle for me entirely. To get full use will require going in and out of siege *constantly*
As I got the Swedish T8, T9 & T10, as well as the Kunze. I guess i take the Cobra before this one then
personally i'm not gonna get either of the new tanks this year, I already have all the other tanks from the battles pass (besides the Lorriane 50t cause lol) so just gonna spend the rest of the tokens I get on bounty equipment and see if at least this tank costs slightly less tokens next year

Not just the points, all the rewards disapear, too. Unless they are hidden somewhere I have yet to find. You pay for them by having the pass, but they disapear if not claimed before the season ends.
the point of these turretless hydropneumatic is for a lower profile. this tank is so damn tall.
Not like the HEAT shield on the 103B is practically a joke anyway and doesn't stop anything...
I have the Strv-103B and the only HEAT I’ve ever bounced was from tier 9s and 8s. All the tier 10s insta pen

I found myself enjoying this thing. I know it's not fantastic but the 4000+ DPM can lead to some kinda insane holds at the right places
Noob here, it would be a more realistic performance if you didn't use an unrealistic 9 skill crew.

I was holding off on spending my tokens until I saw this review. I have the Char, the Phase 1, the 777, and the Kunze Pz, not really interested in the other ones. I decided I'd wait for a review before spending all my tokens, bc it was going to be this tank, or a bunch of bounty equipment. Looks good enough to save my tokens for.
can't you only choose 1 bounty equipment per season?

Glad I'm playing Bolter and hiking this summer and not playing World of Staleness.
Such a bad mechanic to have that ROF decrease in siege mode. Not only is it super clunky but it defeats the purpose of the tank. Min/maxing it is so inconvenient and obnoxious and it’s not user friendly at all.
what do you guys think of the cobra vs this tank for value??

Depends what you mean by value. The Cobra will cost you more credits if you use mainly gold rounds like you should, but I bet it would also put a much bigger smile on your face while you clip people to death so quickly 🙂
I don't have this one yet, but oh boy you can have a good time with Cobra... OFC this goes with the other autoloaders too... And the gun behaves well...

So in travel mode its a k91pt and in sniper mode its a udes/strv 1030 and honestly id rather just play the k91 or the strv
Nice thoughts, love my K-91-PT such an underrated tank, great camo and speed, strong upper hull, fair dpm, though I feel the gun could be more accurate. The UDES 03 I love, sure not for everyone, but great gun and fair dpm, if you use the speed to relocate as the battle changes it can be amazing! I don’t mind the siege mechanic, so maybe this is my next tank!

This one is basically the udes on steroids , with tier9 badge on it
One quite annoying thing about the price of this vehicle (and I bet WG made very aware decision on it too) is that a free to play player like myself can't get it until the third season. After completing all three chapters (including the collections) from the first season I'm only at 13 tokens. Assuming the second season gives same amount of tokens, I will be one token short of being able to purchase this tank after completing it.
@8:17 Strictly speaking this isn't entirely true. There are two tier 4 German TDs that share the same commander as this one; Marder 38t and Pz. Sfl. 1C. But the driver and radioman are unique.
A radioman/loader is also on the StuG IV.
Scratch that. He's a loader/radioman-won't work.
@@williamcollins2344 Yeah unfortunately if the roles are in reverse order it won't work. Otherwise you could've used the loader/radioman from any StuG.
@@Donanzador It looks as if the Snap Shot skill is essentially worthless on this thing, so between the commander and driver, you'd really only need Deadeye from the gunner skills. If you've got a decent crew, say 5 or 6 skills, you could retrain the commander so has Deadeye (driver is already overtaxed with too many skills to learn) and retrain the radioman with Intuition. I already retrained my Grille commander (6 skills) with situational awareness for my Kanonenjagdpanzer 105, so I'll use my JgPz E 100 crew for this thing. They're approaching the 6th skill, so it wouldn't be much of a burden at all.

This tank annoys me a bit. The Swedish Td tanks are unique in the game, thanks to their siege and travel mode, and It feels like the countries speciality. So the germans all of the sudden having a very similar td to the Swedish feels..dumb.

dont know any technical reason why dpm lowers in siege mode? have the loader handcrank the hydrauik pump??? same on the Kunze... as we can see even with high dpm its not OP because the whole concept is more classical TD role...support the others

The BZ-58-2 is a 50TP clone if that's your thing. It's not been received very well

265 is low pen for a tier 9 medium? That's tier 10 TD levels of pen.
Umm? What tier 10 TDs are you playing with that low of pen? Im pretty sure the lowest pen on any tier 10 TD is the Grille 15, and even it has something like 276mm

How likely is that they are going to add new (better?) tanks available for tokens? Say that they add another great tank for 27 tokens after you bought this would be very depressing.
They dont. The Token Shop gets updated "yearly" (or after 3 Seasons, however you take it)

@@pekka8719 Your Tokens expire by the time new tanks get added, simply put. When did it happen? At the beginning of this season, at the beginning of the first season last year and so on.
They dont add new tanks as long along the yearly 3-season-battle pass thingy.
So, Season XIII (or Season 13), which will start in early 2024, you will not see any new Tanks for Tokens (if they do it as they used to do)

Since when do you get 27 tokens for the battle pass? I only got 8 without paying for the bonus ones
paying for premium pass only gets you 24 in the first season. nobody has this tank yet
