  • Listen to and read U.S. President Andrew Jackson’s Indian Removal plans in his 1830 Annual Message to Congress. President Jackson explains that two Indian tribes have agreed to accept a handsome offer to relocate west of the Mississippi River to make more room for white settlers. He urges U.S. citizens to persuade all Indians to accept the relocation offer.

    If Germany had won the war; and assuming the National Socialists were on a charm offensive to normalize their relations with the world, Hitler’s successor would not have had to rewrite much of this speech when speaking generously about the resettlement of the Jewish remnant.

      An interesting parallel 100-115 years apart, and yes you would not be in error.
      About 150 years after Andrew Jackson's plans of bliss, utopia, prosperity, etc narrated in this video, it's been happening ever since and can be summed-up As President Ronald Reagan once said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help. “
      It would be appropriate the ask the Indians / Aboriginal peoples / First Nations people about Andrew Jackson's agendas, his predecessors, and the next 30 presidents, and all of politicians DC through to local?
      Here we are in the 20th-21st century lets:
      Also ponder why there are millions of homeless people?
      Why are the number homeless people keep increasing?
      Does Sanctury of land, farm, home, small business exist?
      Or can government, banks, scam artists, lawyers, financiers, easily seize private property?
      Why 40% of population does not have $400.00 in cash or in savings bank?
      Why is poverty and destitution flourishing?
      Why middle classes are becoming extinct?
      Why there are plethora of taxes, levies, fees, plus usury?
      Why is being in debts, mortgages, equity loans, student loans, credit-card debts, reverse mortgages, etc plus usury relentlessly promoted?
      What happened to the Indians has been repeated, rebranded / flavoured and applied to 97% of population.
      Indians / Aboriginal peoples / First Nations people were and are in concentration camps aka reservations.
      Andrew Jackson's agenda is alive and well.
      In conclusion 97% of population are slaves.

    I honestly hate how he’s going on about how this will help the Indians as well as the whites, and then immediately calls them savages, he was one of the worst presidents.

      Dabble Smith I think you are missing a key aspect of the situation...their land was stolen. They were living on that land and through broken treaties, forced assimilation, and violence their land was taken away.
      Land = life
      Their land was stolen. Does being “less developed” now make it ok?
      “Stop playing the victim card”...how about you get your head out of your ass and try to understand how even though settler colonialism began in America hundreds of years ago it still has lasting effects today.
