Finishing the sink plumbing made me think this was a home improvement show where contestants are timed to complete a task. If that was the case, Mike would have won the contest! Enjoy the trip to England. I hope you are able to rest and relax during the trip. Don’t stress about the house. Your work will be there when you get back.

Seeing your vision come to light is sooo beautiful-I totally agree as far as the paint and it was competing with the beautiful floors and island not like my opinion matters,it’s your kitchen,black hardware is perfect you have waited and worked so hard have it the way you want it ❤

I did so love the mushroom color in the kitchen , but will wait to see the final product with countertops etc. all that matters is that you guys love it! Took my 3 and 6 yo to a local museum. Felt like the Knorpps getting my kids interested in exploring museums at a young age😀

The kids gathered in their room singing Justin Bieber songs just lit up my day. Reminds me of my days growing up teasing my cousins singing Hanson song MmmBop. They were diehard fans and my sister and I were not so much. I was a diehard Garth Brooks fan and was very upset when he married Trisha Yearwood. 😂😂😂 How I just completely aged myself. But seriously I can always get a smile watching your videos. I’ve had an extremely rough year and catching a smile is the highlight of my day. I love you guys!

Such excellent planning to be able to get a sink installed 2 minutes before leaving on an international holiday when they've had TWO YEARS to do this. Oh yes, what wonderful, clever people. How amazing.

Mike is A-MA-ZING!!!!!! He is such a trooper. He is so unique in that he keeps a pleasant, kind, jovial spirit while being under pressure and working past exhaustion. Talk about excitement down to the minute getting the sink hooked up for water! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I’m wondering if he sleeps the first three days, ha-ha. The entire family is such a testament of love.

Phew, that was a roller coaster lol. Hopefully our weather has been kind to you, I can't wait to see your London tour, my husband works in London and we live a few miles away so I'm sure we'll see some familiar landmarks in your next video. I hated to see the video end! I love seeing how yours and Mike's vision is coming together! I was surprised that I liked the new color in the kitchen better, the other was SO pretty. But you were right again. The trip is probably the best thing for Mike, I can see that he is exhausted!! Get the stove in and you'll be able to cook in the house. Have a Great trip and lots of fun!! I love that you are showing an authentic renovation. It seems that often renovations are made to look very simple and fast and the juxtaposition of an authentic process with all the tough decisions and choice that might not be perfect or that turn out better than you imagined and all the unknowns of older homes makes this so refreshing to watch. It is encouraging to see that although things don’t always go according to plan you all still press forward- and maintain sanity(very admirable! haha). All the best as you continue this renovation.

Have you thought of Habite for Humanity stores? In most places of any size they have one it is a store where they take any leftover cabinets vanities lumber, appliances, etc. I thought maybe you didn't know about them.
