2 times faster is a little too quick. I like to watch the player struggle at a nice quick but enjoyable pace

Depends on what I'm watching. Sometimes 2× is funnier but also maybe just a touch too fast. 1.25 is usually my default for video essays. But 1.5 and 1.75 for let's plays is a pretty good way to enjoy the video while still understanding what's going on fully. And it means I can binge more of the backlog!
