  • The highlight of this show is when Groucho breaks into a spontaneous and very silly pseudo-Irish jig while one of the contestants sings some folk music (@ 18:45). He hadn't lost his knack for physical comedy.
COUPLE #1: Dan Gerber, president of Gerber Baby Foods / Lila Zinnato
COUPLE #2: Billie Watkins / Joesphine Ball, Mrs. America contestant
COUPLE #3: Sean Meaney, the Irish tenor whose prompts Groucho's jig / Pauline Ruby, from Arkansas

Sean Meany, the Irishman, would over the next few years appear as a bit actor in a handful of American TV shows and movies, such as "Medic", "Bat Masterson", and "Wagon Train". He was born in 1927.

"How mooch mooney do ya want ta looose" - such a quintessentially Irish sense of humour :) Sean was an absolute delight. His singing was magnificent. He was obviously musically literate, telling band the key. The song he sang was one I listened to as a child on my parent vinyl player. Pure delight to listen to. RIP Sean your joy lives on. He looked really relaxed as he recited all those names ... he must have sung it many times.

Greenings Lake, Greenings Lake Dam, and Two Bayous (after North and South, I presume) Church, on the other hand, are near the southern end of the state, in Bragg Township, in Ouachita County, just outside Camden. What some hear as "North Viol" and "South Viol" is the contestant rendering "North Bayou" and "South Bayou" - you can see and hear her rendering the "B" sound.
