- The trio has been completed. After a total of 331,455 encounters and 40 phases, Shiny Kangaskhan is mine. The last of the Safari Trio. It's absolutely surreal to have uploaded one, nevermind all three!
I had always had the idea of finding all three in my head but something in 2020 just really made me want to grab these for my collection. This is probably the biggest step forward for Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex I could take, with the Roaming Beasts already obtained. The Safari Trio are by far and above the hardest Pokemon to obtain in Gen 3 (eggs excluded).
I can't believe, in even editing, that I found three in a row. How does that even happen...

Dude, I don't know that there are words to express my congratulations - it's such an INSANE accomplishment to catch even one of the Safari rares, but putting together all three of them is so wildly impressive!! And you're right - realistically, I can't imagine there *are* any other people who have done it. So, so happy to see you finally finish this - I know you've slaved over this quest for so long and seen countless moldy birds on the way, and I don't know how many shiny videos I've watched where you can hear so much genuine (and merited) joy from the accomplishment.
Anyway - huge congrats again, and thanks for a great video as always! The catch itself is so huge, and to find three of them back to back AND the 1.54% is so wild, too. Just a crazy video all around, and looking forward to future shiny hunts as always!
This legend has the most badass shinies, the hardest one will be for him to have a shiny Beldum or Metang from the Safari Zone of HG SS
