  • Vlog 22: Driving around in the 240sx as a daily for a couple months now fixing little bugs here and there as they come about. Still running into minor issues with the KA24DE, most recent the KA24DE needle tried overheating on me on the way home. Caught the needle going up slightly right on time before any damaged occurred & found that one or the coolant lines had developed a hole leaking out near the upper radiator hose. Was able to pin point the source of the leak but not able to locate the actual hose on a diagram. Did the next best thing & just sliced the access hose and used the remaining slack to reposition around the outlet. For those of you who’ve had to bleed the coolant system on a 240sx you should know they are a pain in the ass to bleed thoroughly.

    My s13 have leak under manifold. There 4 short hoses between manifold and what best and eazy way to replace it?

      Kennedy Wong they are a pain in the ass to get to and find the replacements for, use some hose needle nose pliers to help install and to make it easy as possible to remove just use a blade & cut them off so you don’t have to battle the hoses.... make sure you got the right hoses before cutting anything though and clean up any old coolant gunk that might build up👌🏻

      What size hose do you think it would be? 5/16

      Kennedy Wong not sure they couldn’t find mine on the diagrams from parts department at work so I ended up cutting the tip of the hose and stretching it to reach and it worked it had enough remaining hose to reach just fine with room for movement still thankfully my leak was really high up at the clamp

      Kennedy Wong Dude I ran into the same issue so I feel you on that one they have to be somewhere a diagram that fits your year to find the proper hoses but as far as Nissan carrying that part it’s gonna be something that is discontinued

    Aye bro I’m having a similar issue with my kA but it’s the hose on the back of that split where the bypass hose connects. the larger hose in the back seems to have a pinhole where the clamp is :/ do you know what that hose is called/where i can find it

    Did u ever fix the issue of lower hose being cold bcuz mines was cold after I bled it correctly and it overheats

    • @proz33builds
      @proz33builds  Před 4 lety

      HYPE WARRIOR!! Unfortunately yes and no, reason why it wasn’t opening was cause the heater core had blocked the thermostat and from slight over heating weakened the head gasket over the next couple months the head gasket went out

    hey did you have to make holes on your mishimoto radiator to fit the oem fan shroud?

    • @proz33builds
      @proz33builds  Před 3 lety

      No but the fan shroud had damage so I had to retro Fit it to secure it down, everything aligned like normal

    • @jap8912
      @jap8912 Před 3 lety

      Man do you have video of your radiator install?
      And oh ok so yeah the only way I saw it would fit was if I made holes on the sides of the radiator because if not the shroud would just slide in there but float because it had no holes to attach it to.
