I am not even from the USA and even I know you do NOT mess with Arkansas State Police.
Id like to ask you a question. Lets say a car pulls up on you and flip on flashing lights that look like a cop cars lights. But the car doesnt state police or anything. What would you do. Keep in mind your in America and there are people out in random vehicles that put these lights in there vehicles. Now a lot of them tend to act like cops and others kidnap or kill the person there pulling over. Im not sure if your place has unmarked cop cars. But in America its supposed to be illegal. I do know it benefits 1 thing witch is catching a criminal while not being noticed but there are other ways of going about that. Also a police officer in America is supposed to identify themselves with name and badge number when asked by a citizen.

Sir if you are not sure why you are being stopped, or if the vehicle stopping you is a police vehicle, call the police department and question whether theres a police officer pulling you over or not, while u stop at the shoulder and wait. Its very rare for people to shoot people by impersonating a police officer so that argument aint valid? Get their plate and call the police if you suspect it not to be a real police officer and they will deal with it. Also regarding police officers having to identify themselves.. Thats the officer itself, not the vehicle lol, so that argument is now invalid. There is no law against police using unmarked police vehicles in the US as a whole. It may be in your state or maybe your local agency or state police have a policy around it, but theres no law restricting all of the united states from using unmarked police cars. Now, unmarked and undercover are two different things. Undercover means you are not supposed to be seen as a police officer and so they will probably not be in uniform and might not have to identify themselves in the event of an operation taking place requiring them to withold their information, but i am not sure on the last part so dont quote me on that. As for unmarked, they are simply un-marked vehicles with lights equipped and more often than not driven by a uniformed police officer and they will hand you their businesscard or show you their badge. Ask their name, badge and department then call the department to ask if that person is employed by them.
Long story short, dont be a dumb ass with that anti cop shit, if you dont like the laws of your state, leave that state. If you dont like the laws of your country, leave that country, its quite simple. Or you could maybe read through the law, educate yourself more about why that law exists, the reasoning behind it and when you see an officer, think of what might be going on from his point of view instead of just thinking about your own inconvenience llike most stupid people nowadays.

You have to love that cowboy hat on the local deputy who responded to back up the Trooper in the last stop at the cornfield. He wears that well. It was cool that he was nice to the dog as well. I'd be willing to bet that the dog left with him until things could get sorted out.

I live in upstate NY. About 20
5 miles away there is a small rural town and the local cops wear cowboy hats and have pearl handles pistols . A guy I worked with was stopped by one of them for an expired inspection. The cop ask him if he knew why he was stopped and he replied " I think I'm being profiled" The cop asked what he meant. The guy replied "Because I have all of my teeth" The cop got pissed off and looked for anything else he could find on the truck. He just got the expired inspection ticket

A lot of people come to retire here because cost of living is low compared to other states. My great aunt and uncle lived in California in the 60’s/70’s and didn’t move back until the late 80’s or 90’s but they made a lot more money there than they would here so they were set. I still have family that lives out there and I’m sure they’ll be here eventually.

The red ASP car is indeed a marked unit. They have less markings on them than the traditional cars but they are marked.
There are 6 inch, approximately, decals on both front doors. And, flashing likes everywhere!

Today I learned that Porsche Cayennes are hard as hell to PIT. I can't afford a Porsche Cayenne, but should I ever find myself in one driving through Arkansas, I will remember this.
I was watching the front wheels, and I think the driver was just really good at turning to counteract the PIT. They just kept their wheels turning in the direction of travel as the back end swung out

That 2nd scene with the pit that flipped the car.... the officer did not seem to notice it was a complete flip. Great driving on his part but the camera doesn't lie. Jeez in LA they don't allow a pit at over like 30 mph... this one was at like 60 at least. Risky, but effective. I am surprised it didn't kill Jaba the Hut.

It should be mandatory for anyone who is applying for a driver's license to watch these videos before they are allowed to drive - especially in Arkansas. Don't run from the Arkansas State Police...it doesn't matter if you're in a car, truck or motorcycle, they will pit you at any speed.
And if you're on a motorcycle that tops out at 75 just give up now. In fact, sell it and buy a PS5. Lots safer! Do your road racing in a video game.

I have been pulled over by a unmarked car before two times and still didn’t do what guy did. They were in uniform when they came to my cars and had light and sirens. The cops were very nice and polite.

@@ET2carbon That is actually the correct thing to do if you have any doubts. I had that happen a few times when I was working in an unmarked car, especially with female drivers at night, who are understandably reluctant to stop for someone they don't know to be a police officer. We are trained to look for the flashers when working unmarked. We are also supposed to pull abreast of you if possible so you can see us in uniform, but this doesn't do much good after dark. In my department if all else failed our policy was to call for a marked unit to assist in making the stop. I'm not sure I'd PIT out a guy over simple speeding, but from what I've seen the Arkansas boys don't play.
I think the hipster idiot at the start of this video was just trying to be a dick. Probably someone told him on the internet that he didn't have to stop for an unmarked car and he believed them. But the moment he saw the Trooper in uniform, he should have complied. Then he could have explained why he didn't stop and could have avoided being body slammed. I never cease to be amazed at how some people will turn a simple speeding ticket or even a warning into an arrest for no good reason.
The only states I'm aware of where it is illegal to do a traffic stop in an unmarked car are California and Ohio, and in Michigan one can pull you over but it must be for more than a routine traffic offense. But individual police departments can prohibit officers from doing it by policy if they choose.
I love how the Arkansas police will pit you in a heartbeat. It seems as if a cop did that to me that I know he’d want me to pull over for whatever reason

True, those long pursuits in CA can last for hours, and when they finally get the driver surrounded, it can end up in a standoff;. I live in So.
CA, which has it share of high speed pursuits. A major factor is the high density of population here. They don`t want to put the public in danger. Arkansas is fortunate to have such diligent and dedicated Troopers.
The part with the motorcyclist, the radio traffic was so muffled. Made me think of a fast-food speaker system, "Would you like fries with that?"
