Hiroshima is located in the western part of the Japanese archipelago, known to foreign tourists through the atomic bomb event that devastated the city during World War II.
After Japan's successful reconstruction efforts, today Hiroshima has grown into a popular tourist city with many interesting sights and activities for visitors.
Although it is a tourist city, Hiroshima still retains the ancient features of Japan. Especially the trips have left me with unforgettable impressions.

Although the bomb was tragic, it still is very worthwhile to visit Hiroshima. It's like my favorite place in Japan. Forget Tokyo.
I'm planning to visit Hiroshima from the USA. Could you give me a few reasons why you think it's better than Tokyo? Are the people different from Tokyo people?
@@john83me14 Much more chill, less claustrophobic, has the largest tram system, easier to make day trips (Miyajima!), rich history as explained before.

streets and roads in heroshima is more wider compare to tokyo or any major cities in japan..
The roads and streets of Nagoya are regarded to be the widest among Japanese major cities.
Hiroshima is not so bad though. Sapporo is also good too.
