- Mya Allawi is an Actress from a Lebanese father and a Srilankan mother. She was born and raised in Lebanon, holding 2 BAs and 2 Masters in Public Relations and International Relations.
She started to face modeling at the age of 20 and kept her vision to become a leading actress in 2 series Shahid's Confessions of a Fashionista’ & ‘Min Ila’.
Mya is now writing her life story called ‘Bint L Stilankiye’ just to spread awareness against Bullying, racism, and being a strong mixed-colored woman in her environment.

Shes half lebanese and half srilankan, yet she speaks arabic better than alllllllllllll the other showoffs and fake arabs that came to this podcast pretending to be something imprtant. She is so natural and strong! I enjoyed listening to her.

A great interview. This stereo type issue exists around the globe even in Canada!!! We agree with Mya's words to have a housecare or house keeper is only a job to earn the income then go home for the family. The Middle East world has to change their terminology of the nationality stereo type. There's a proverb says "Never judge the book by its cover !" Therefore, the society is lacked of respect to others.

معايري المجتمع متخلفه وضعها البشر وعاشوا عليها ولحد هذا السنين بعدها متداوله ويتم التحدث بها رغم امها عامله ومن جنسية مختلفه تعرضت الكثير من مناقضات رغم العمل يحبه الله ورسوله خصوصا اذ كان حلال ومثل مكالت على مبادىء الشخص او يختصر الطريق بوسائل رخيصه ….

بحترم كتير يلي بتقوليه و رسالتك و امي كمان كانت اذنة و انا فخورة فيها. بس بكلامك في شي متناقض، عم تقولي انه انا كنت بمدرسة خاصة و الناس كان مستواها عالي، و قبلها قلتي ليه بدنا نربط الشغل بال social status, مين قال انه يلي بمدرسة حكومية مستواهم اقل؟
