I love to see a builder that does things the right way. Upgraded internals assures that this car will last, the owner can just hop in it and go 300 miles without worrying about it. 530/530 to the wheel is a blast on the street. Just touch the throttle, and it's gone.
I see Hennessy builds that have a supercharger bolted on, making 800hp, and not a thing is done to the rest of the drive-train, and out the door it goes, knowing well well it's going to break.He knows you'll be back.

Nice!! 600 at the crank is pretty good for the 3 valve!! Car sounds awesome, looks great and seems like the owner loves it. All a great recipe for fun!! Loved the exit, first he's pulling out like an "old man", wrong side of the road, then he puts a bit of "fish tail" into it...priceless!!! LOL...LOL

You said in the Video this was a 3 value 4.6L engine but in your intro. it says 2012 Mustang GT which came with the New (starting in 2011) 5.0L Coyote engine!...but the car in the video looks like the 05 thur 09 S197 Body Style!...So can I assume that 2012 was a misprint? Also I was wondering is this setup 50 State Street Legal? The reason is because I live in California and aftermarket parts have to have a EO#!...Thanks and God Bless!

IMHO, quite the opposite. That motor isn't just slapped together, listen to when he talks about cutting off the injectors on decel, we all know that's just the tip of the iceberg. NRE was always about reliability, I would take 600hp from them any day and my grand kids will drive that. This looks like and awesome daily driver.., my hat's off as usual
Obviously I was exaggerating a bit. The guy builds engines that make 2000hp. Just seems strange that a guy paid him for a measly 500hp. Something bolt ons could do.

Pretty nice wheels on the stang, but first of all its not a 2012 more so a 07-08 GT. 2nd of all 530rwhp and torque seems pretty low, must be tuned on low boost, or it's not that big of a litre whipple. 3rd of all for how much money this guy spent for Nelson to do all that work he should of bought a actually 2012 GT with the beast coyote engine throw on a supercharger of choice, personally go with centrifugal and make so much more hp and still be just as much reliable and daily driven. If you don't believe me check out my Bros and i's 2013 white boss 302 on the channel Yomanzz.
Yah I thought you could get a stock 3 valve with a regular Whipple and maybe smaller pulley and get these numbers no problem.
+justin beamon 500 is limit on stock internals. Plus i think its built to crank up boost at will.

Shit Tom,I was almost disappointed when i saw the hp at the beginning of the video,although I know it gets it and probably more than enough for that gentleman(hell who knows , I heard him bring the r's up and maybe was going to grab some gears)I like to see you lay two black strips for blocks at will, and i expected that mustang to do the same until you said it was a 4.6 3 valve motor.Which reminded me of a job that i put a procharger with I think 5 or 6lbs of boost (no intercooler of coarse) and was trippin when i test drove it hen i was done and thought there was something wrong,lol-it felt like it gained 20 hp -lol. So your 500+ was an achievement to say the least- once again you worked your magic.
