My friend at school had one of these in great condition, no rust. But a couple weeks ago there was a snow storm and he lost control and crashed it. It’s very unfortunate because that was his favorite car and his only car. His car was a complete lost and had to go to the junker. I feel this one. my 77 mercedes 300d went into a tree at 35. you learn lessons from accidents like this. i learned not to ignore tires and brakes. and hopefully you learned to practice drifts in a more open area. hope the car isnt completely totaled like my old merc.

Reminds me of the time I had my tires spinning in my 95 Lexus LS400 for a whole block then managed to keep control of the car the whole time with the tires spinning making a left onto a back street that I had to squeeze in between cars parked on the street.. the burnout didn't end til that second block was over LOL

Damn Lexus know how to engineer a good crash. Rumour has it there were champagne glasses and coins all perfectly balancing on the engine during the whole crash.
Typically situation when driver keep accelerated the engine with an automatic gear box and saw the road border ( trees...) In manual gear box,when the car start to slide from the rear, don't touch the gas pedal, and push the clutch pedal. Then see the road and put the car where your eyes are looking ( on the road , not on the trees....) And turn the volant. And the car will come back alone on the road in very moment. This is why in USA, there are a lot of stupid accident like that, just because of driver keeping gas with automatic gear box. Driver is not able to control the car, before the engine power is still pushing the car with any possibility to unlock the engine from the automatic gear box.....
