What does an LS swap in an old Ford look like? I go over the finished product after hundreds of hours of labour and figuring things out! Hope you enjoy the video! Please like and subscribe!
Mid 80's I had a '77 F150 Custom w/ 351M 3 speed column and a '79 F100 Ranger w/302 AT. Those 351M's were good, but the coils, distributor caps, rotors, modules, and silver magic boxes were a pain.
I don’t remember totals as I redid all of the mechanical as well at the same time. But I would say on top of the donor cost in just periphery account for around 2000$ keep in mind that ls a pickup truck where most stuff fits easily.
What did you do about the power steering hoses? Are they custom made or is there a combo of parts that bolts on and works? I’m asking because I’m neck deep in an ls swap into a 74 f100 with factory twin I beam’s.
Sounds good nicely done sir 👏
