As a Canadian, I can confirm this statement is only partially accurate. We do have this breed of humans, but they all live in small towns or out on a country highway somewhere, quite far away from real civilization. Essentially, only hillbillies in the sticks are like this. Most of us are civilized well cultured people.

As a European, I say this from my heart that it looks like a very nice and exciting day. I would much rather make a trip to Wisconsin than, say, California.
I am from "rural" Germany and just got back from living in the Puget Sound area of Washington State for three years. It was OK, mostly because we could do trips to Montana. But this in the video is the America I would have loved to spend my time in.

Great representation, aside from two major Wisconsin controversies. The Johnson’s choice of the Vikings over the Packers, and Euchre over Sheepshead. These are cultural issues not to be taken lightly.
From upstate ny, played euchre all my life, never heard of sheepshead.

As for the score cards, I must plead ignorance. Euchre was so far beneath my family, I got the kid on the corner to teach it to me. The only thing he seemed interested in was the humiliation ritual of it when you get to yell euchre at somebody. I forgot the game quickly.
Spades, hearts, poker, cribbage, rummy, war (for the very young), and bridge or skat for the intellectuals, but nobody in our circle played euchre.
