I'm a big gta player and I have the series x and the load times for story are about 35 seconds after you hit the a button to launch the game, and to go into only is about 1 minute, 50 seconds.

Actually we are approaching limitations in terms of tech for the consoles.there is currently nothing faster than an m.2 SSD and the series X i believe is equivalent to an Nvidia 3060 which is a current generation card and very powerful even for its lower end specs compared to the 3070 and 3080.in fact the series X is so good that it is able to run games at 120fps 1440p and also 4K Wuxi his something unheard of for even most PC players now a days unless u are not inning an e sports type game but the most demeaning games usually will not pass 60fps on 4K frame rates.for a console it is definitely very powerful and PC like.specially since it is literally a tower lol

Just got the series s. Such a huge difference in loading times. Even the graphics look better. Valhalla plays so much smoother on Series S than Xbox one.

Fun thing about ssds is they're adaptive, so they only get faster the more you play something. Not going to drop from 15 to like 5 or anything, but it can easily start booting in about 10-12 more than likely.

@@armorking481 It is made up of plastic but quality plastic and it feels very premium especially the elite controllers and yes the controllers work without batteries you just need to attach charging cable type c or micro usb.

One of the reasons the older model Took way longer to start was Because the updates for the Xbox one S came before the New model’s and the Updates can Slow Down the Console’s Performance as it’s more Processing intensive overtime.

A SSD upgrade in the One S would give it a new lease on life, especially for someone who has already collected many games on disc.
The xbox one s is still a great console, just that the series s is more powerful and faster that's all.
I've had the one x (now i have the series s) and i can assure you that the series s is really powerful, the loading times are incredible

Not just loading times, look at cyberpunk gameplay and xbox one s doesn't look as good as series s. Both great consoles

If you have RDR2 I would love to see a comparison with that game. On my original Xbox One, it takes at least 1:30 to load, probably longer but I’ve never timed it. Great video btw.
It makes really fast ! And when you've turned the xbox off and left it all day, you can load it the next day in around 4 seconds right where you last played with no load screens just right back in the game!

Series s can’t handle 120fps only 60hz. I got series x and it is 120fps supported and 4k with insane loading times and handling, but he is right. You shouldn’t really be getting an x unless u have a high quality television

Got my PS5 3 days ago and the loading times are absolutely freaky! Rust console used to take me like 2 an half mins to get in, now I'm loaded up and in, in about 30 seconds.

they both have the expansion slot, series s games are smaller in size as they are not aiming for 4k

You should try to change the internal HDD of One S up to SSD, they're a lot of videos with the tools for doing succesfully the mod. Then retry the comparision. The One S One X can support 2TB Sata SSD.
Do that mod on a one x and you'd have a beast. It actually processes at 6 teraflops ps, faster than the new series s that runs at only 4. It also supports 4k gaming as well.
@@Lw2201 I know im late but teraflops isn't a good way of measuring and it's completely new hardware anyway so even if it was only 2tflop it would probably outperform the one x, the series s is just blatantly better.

The Xbox Series S is one helleva console. I bought one for my son for Christmas from Costco for $229. I couldn't believe how cheap it was after comparing it to my Series X. Load times are basically the same and it's connected to a 1080p TV anyways so we don't care about the lack of 4K. If you're trying to decide on series s or something else, I'd say you should give it try. You won't regret.

the difference between the two can be seen from the graphics, the series x supports ray tracing and also supports 4k and therefore reports more details, the series s has a maximum of 1440p and loads less Details
Honestly, I just bought a Samsung EVO 1TB SSD and installed it on my One S. Its not Series S but I will say its amazing how much faster it starts up and how fast it loads Cold War or Warzone

Try deleting some games on your storage. The more storage taken up on your xbox, the slower it'll get. Generally you want to keep like at least 20% free storage

The only problem I have with the series s is the storage
You can have more, just buy the proprietary card of expansion.
But that 500gb storage which technically you have only 400gb of free storage for games. That's a big problem for us who own over 250 games. So an external is absolutely needed. But SSD external drives don't work yet for the Series X/S.
