This reminds me of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I love the atmosphere!
absolute beauty and great gameplay. You can play it on speedrun, on stealth, on low ammo, with different weapons and explore while enjoying a gorgeous setup and clever secrets you can work out just being curious and thinking a bit.
If it just had a larger scope...

For the RL secret, it was the only one I couldn't figure out too despite knowing where it was, so I ended up opening the map source. In the SK room, there's a protruding bit on the central pillar, under the walkway. Headbutt it to open the teleporter outside, it will take you to the RL above. I don't know who thought it was the easiest one but it lacks some proper hint IMO.

Nice map, blueish lighting and final fight area reminds me of persian level from Painkiller.
hasn't anyone here noticed it's a freaking mosque? The architectural styles simply gives it away.

I really think this map is cool and own quake, but I have no idea how to get maps running. Can you help me out a little? I have the file and the game, using the darkplaces engine, but I don't know how to get custom maps running.

It should work fine on your lappy! It probably uses less resources than something like DarkPlaces.
