Magnum Visuals ikr
I am Korean. The DMZ has a sick history, and even Koreans are once in a lifetime. It is a place where you can understand the culture of our country. You have gone to a very meaningful place. Korean men are drafted into the military for two years. I also worked there.
North Korean troops missing? When I was there in 1995 there were lots of N. Korean troops there watching us. One pulled a gun out on us and pointed it at me through the window. He obviously did not like me filming him. We evacuated the building and quickly got on the bus. My video tape was confiscated by the US Army soldiers just before Freedom Bridge.
Haha what a story you got there
now that a story
Upload the footage or it’s bullshit
Augustus Constantine He literally said a US Soldier confiscated it
@@ConstantineTheGreatXP read comments bro...
Even I am korean, I didn't know that there is abandoned theme park in the DMZ.
That makes it even more weird haha.
Really? In which city you actually stay?
When my wife and I visited South-Korea we were looking into the DMZ tour but canceled the idea as the situation were pretty tense back then. Thanks for taking us with you!
It's always tense being there. Try being there for 14 months
I've done my military service in that area, where you call it exactly "DORASAN". SAN can be translated as 'mountain' and 'DORA' is just a name of that mountain. Your video reminds me every moment i have spent in that area, the landscape and everything.. Thks for visiting DMZ area and saying nice words for two koreas
Marko dropping history facts is the best part of all your videos!! Love it!
Ladan Abdi Alex too! These guys are muy inteligente!
Thanks for the video.. I was in the U.S. Army in the early, and mid 80's. I spent 15 months in South Korea, The Western Corridor, about 5 miles from the DMZ. I spent one month right on the DMZ, Guard Post Ouelette, overlooking North Korea.. I was a forward observer, our job was to observe various points in North Korea, day , and night.. We lived in underground bunkers, and would man the observation towers in 4 hour shifts.. All night long the North Koreans blasted propaganda our way through giant speaker systems, really crazy stuff , to say the least. Loved the down time in Korea, spent alot of time in Seoul.. Love the Korean people, and their culture.. Things have changed a lot there since 84-85.. Thanks again for your videos.
You guys just keep on getting better...
Thank you Elliot! Really appreciate this comment. Onwards and Upwards!!!
I love how Marko says the soldiers are chill, then Alex follows up with nope, not chill at all! lol made me chuckle
Great video guys! :D
+Qitrechio gotta have both sides of the coin hahaha
That's what vagabrothers is all about
I really do hope I will see a united Korea in my lifetime.
I agree. You said it.
Carolien Coenen, only way it will ever happen is if the north and south get destroyed. What I mean is if NK decides to provoke a response with an attack their infrastructure, people, and government will not survive. I believe though that large portions of SK will be destroyed in the process as well. Only once the entirety of the military structure of NK is gone then you will be able to have some form of unification. Sanctions or anything else the rest of the world throws at NK will not be effective just make the citizens struggle with lesser supplies. So it might forever be a quagmire but who knows, maybe they will eventually have a civil war overthrowing their government and surprise the world. Doubtful but who knows.
allen thompson UN isnt his last name you dumbass
Carolien Coenen 🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵Unified under one flag!🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵
Carolien Coenen , of course, under one flag : the South Korean one!
This has been the best video that you guys have made. I have personally been to the DMZ and it really brought me memories of it. Stunning. Thank you guys for your content
in 4:41, i know the woman a little bit hestitate & afraid to take a photo with the guard, i can see from her face tho wkwkwk so funny :p
I'd be too afraid to get anywhere near north korea
Don't trust them, EVER
This is so amazing!
+Exploring With Cody cheers bro! It was crazy!! Loving your videos and photos lately 🤙🏽
Exploring With Cody ikr
"K PROPAGANDA" that just got me laugh over this serious vid
The DMZ itself is like a twisted dystopia theme park.
planesrift I met some members of the United States Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps who where stationed at the DMZ. It is a tense and dangerous place to be stationed. I even knew those worked at Checkpoint Charlie in West Berlin.
Great content guys, I can tell how much effort you put into these videos and just want to say I really appreciate it!
Amazing video! You guys just keep getting better!! Vagabrothers is certainly my favorite CZcams channel! Love ya, guys!
+Marieli Moraes awww thank you so much Marieli!! Where are you watching from??
You're welcome, guys. I'm watching from Brazil!
Extremely fascinating. It is amazing to see all that has progressed and also what has been a stand still. One of your best series!
3:12 Those on to my left are standing in North-Korea right now. Guy:" Oh sh*t"

Thank you Bega :)
Thank you guys for sharing this video. It was so informative and interesting and these facts (from what I know) are all correct! Very well put together guys!
Hahaha Marko's little laugh when he realised he'd made a joke :') "K-Prop"
awesome! I was fortunate enough to go and I have to say that this is one of the weirdest places I've ever been to. Seeing it first hand as a Brazilian, it was mindblowing to me. Brazil is so far removed from war situations like this since the WWII when we sent a lot of troops to Northern Italy and actually beat the Germans in many fronts. We fought side by side with the USA back then, so on and so forth. Not only that, but the megaphone war that still goes on, in which they have recordings that can be heard dozens of miles away from the border, in which they bash each other's political system. The fake towns North Korea's built, full of empty mansions just so that the SK can see how NK is richer than the south. I was like WHAT? It is a full on, crazy, ridiculous, place. One has to go there and feel it, cuz the energy there is just heavy. I was scared. And when I went I could hear the military exercises. .....And the soldiers stationed in those blue huts are so tall and look like wax dolls. They just don´t look real at all. Anyway. Thanks guys...keep it up....best vloggers on youtube. all the success to u. regards from Sao Paulo.
TRAVELZILLA I.am ae brazuca, mandando vir em Ingrês!
Great comment ever. I bet you experienced something unique there. :)

This video was so intense but also so amazing. Your content just keeps getting better and better and it's so great. 👌🏻🙌🏻✈️
Amazing vid guys, bordering on a fantastic documentary!! And if you think about it, you might be some of the last civilians to head to the DMZ considering current events.
+RunnerakaElizabeth yah crazy how the situation heated up right after we left
2 Geeks and a Backpack i
Awesome yet eerie video. To think this is still ongoing. Thanks for sharing.
looks awesome I'm heading there next week , great insight into what to expect
Awesome video. Great story but shots and cinematics on point too
Great video. I was stationed in South Korea from Jan 97-98. I spent some time at Camp Bonifas monitoring North Korea.

Cheers Kasey! Pretty wild over there and only seems to be heating up :|
It's very sad!
honestly wow best upload yet boys, great work
Great job with this vid guys, this is a whole other level compared to your previous material. The theme park scene made me think of similar pictures I've seen of Chernobyl.
This is fascinating! Great stuff 👌
Certainly a different kind of video from you guys. It's a welcoming refreshment to visit the DMZ ..
That was super trippy, even just as an observer!
This is so weird watching my country's painful side from your perspective..but I enjoyed it, cool vid! and I'm grateful that I found your channel
This is one of the most interesting videos I have seen in a while. It is really interesting!

Would love to take that train ride! Crazy situation over there, thanks for the great video which give just a little bit of context.
+Dutch Nomad Couple cheers! Hopefully one day that train route is finally opened :)
There is a series of blog posts which document the journey from Vienna-Pyongyang by train done by a couple of train engineers. It's really interesting and worth checking out. vienna-pyongyang.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-everything-began.html
Wow. I was nervous for you watching you go into the DMZ!
you guys are awesome that was a good video.
Thank you for sharing, maybe i'll have the DMZ tour when I go to Korea in Nov.
Thx for this video... À great insight.
The fact that a war could restart again at anytime is scary
Awesome videos thanks bro 😎
okay, new channel to binge watch :)
Great stuff
Really totally different style of vlogging Alex😊. I'm watching u r videos from last 3 week & they are really good. God bless u Vegabrothers👬
I really enjoy the editing of this video guys! I was a bit afraid when I saw, it was 17 minutes long but I did not see it pass. And I was also afraid that the editing was too dynamic, because your last videos from Korea were really punchy. But it's not you really respect the heavy history of the place. Cheers from France and congrats for the 200K!
best vlogging channel ever
thanks guys, keep it up
Thanks for the tour.feel like I was there.✌
awesome video boys
The quality is on point!
How do the guards keep a straight face? I would all ready get fired because I would be laughing all day!
I was so looking forward to see the DMZ video and you guys just didn't let me down, it's awesome!, what's the tour company you chose to book the tour? and also, are GoPro's allowed in the Joint Security Areas?
+Victor Alonso thanks Victor! Glad you enjoyed. Yes to Go Pros but don't remember the tour provider. There is more than one. ✌🏼
I checked online and the cost of the tour in which u visit the conference room is around $80 !!! How much did u guys pay and did u buy the tour with EVERYTHING included or u took the cheapest one u found which showed the conference room?
You do need a tour to go to the DMZ. Yes, the tours cost around US$80. They are well worth it.
Excellent film... love the subject, commentary and camerawork. How do you do the tracking shots? Handheld?
another great video vagabros
Thanks for the video.
Wow. That was a Twilight Zone kind of place. Thanks for giving us a peek.
K-Propaganda, KPROP. LOL
Very good video guys 👌👌

When the tour guide/soldier said “those of you to the left are standing in north korea”, someone said “ohh shieett”
good video!
I love that job
Should I visit DMZ this coming October? Great video by the way!
Great video. i did contemplate doing the DMZ tour but being that close to North Korea seems a bit worrisome now. That abandoned theme park was awesome though :)
Remember how South Korean and North Korean athletes marched together under the Unification flag in Sydney during the opening ceremony at the Olympics? That was a powerful moment.
Marina Guseva hi
I'm South Korean but I've not been there yet.
So this video was even interesting to me. Nice.
Yes I enjoy this video a lot.
Very interesting piece
I would like to start a fund to get the vaga brothers haircuts.
man, the quality of the filming is superb.
Surreal experience. I'm amazed photos and filming is allowed in the room where the armistice was signed.
I had a strange incident happen in 1965 at the Ice Cream Palace, which is a North Korean guard post on top of the hill. Every time I went to take a picture of it the NK guard he turned his back to me. I was with an American MP sergeant and he started screaming obscenities at the poor guard and he turned around and gave us the finger, so I took his picture. Great moment in diplomatic relations.
"k-prop" lol
