- It's the year 1968 in Fort Madison, Iowa. Eddy, ATSF #1316, a 4-6-2, from San Angelo, Texas has just been restored to operating condition to work on a shortline in Illinois. The shortline's name, the Illinois & Western Railway Company. Eddy meets the carefree manager and is given a rundown of the line as he regains his bearings. But is this so called I&W really what it seems to be? This Pacific engine is in for a long ride.

Another series? You may be thinking. Yup, if you recall from my computer crash video earlier this year, I mentioned I planned to create a new Trainz series to replace the Marysville, Cass City, and Hiawatha series' as I plan out what to do with those shows. Whether it be cancel them or attempt minor rebuilds and resume the shows as shorts, I will decide on that ultimately. At the moment, it isn't something I'm focusing on for now. I've also addressed that matter in my fourth Q&A video. The San Juan-Marysville crossover has been filmed as well. Anyway, hope you enjoy this new series and let me know what you think! A big thank you to all the people who helped voice act in this and thank you for watching!

@@memyye yep, I know. Just offering to voice someone if needed.
You should make a video in this series starring the UP 2-8-0.
Enyoed it a lot keep it up 👌👌💪
I really wish I could voice someone in any of his Trainz series but I doubt it will happen since I just made my channel

I really like this ,Hope this series goes far and does great things.
Can't get too many of these outstanding videos. In this one I noticed gorgeous yello flowers, flags (pennants?) waving, tiny vehicles in the distance on a major road were so perfecr, Best of all? early TOFC, intermodal freight speeding by. Wow!!
Brilliant start to a new series, Jared. Looking forward to where this goes from here!
Voice acting! is great! New graphics are looking phenomenal!
“Still feelin good Eddie?” Lmao. The engine ‘s nonchalant attitude is hilarious 😂🍿
this is a series that i’d be binge watching all the time
Subbed! Finally a good alternative to Victor Tanzig's Stories Of Sodor Series!
Our story is fabulous. I would love to see more choo choo stories if you want to produce them. How heartwarming to see how the engineer loves the engine and is his tour guide. I can imagine people interacting with real engines that way. I know Union Pacific 844 .met him in 2007 .
I call the engine Ernie
And is 4449 fancy pants Bert?
This, by far, is better than any of your previous Trainz series combind! Keep up the good work!
this line seems like a nice place to live in.
That was fun, I look forward to seeing where this series goes.
This is gonna be interesting to see.
Great work as always cant wait to see more episodes!!
Pretty cool video
That ending was beautiful.
As some one whose 3rd favorite railroad is Santa Fe (behind drgw and mopac) I already like this
Im already liking this series.
Also the references!
Wow! Awesome Pilot! I love the setting and mood of it. This shows a lot of promise and potential. I'm excited to see more
Cool! Another Trainz series!
Wow I love this! I live 20 minutes from Fort Madison
I cant wait for the next episode!
Keep up your great work👍
Please continue this!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Fantastic series

Wow this is gonna be an awesome series!!!!!
YAY ANOTHER SERIES!

Noice work on this new series!!! Way 2 comeback!!
This looks really good. I wanted another series!
Okay, now this, is epic.
AmtrakGuy365 I love your videos!!! Great channel! I can't believe u started another series! Nice job friend!
Never thought I’d see a Tsundere steam engine... And a male one at that.
Amazing work!!
From the looks of it, this will be less light-hearted than your other series. I'm looking forward to this!!!
Nice work!
More please more
Great start for your first episode. Can't wait to see how that goes in the future. :)
Me too!
Once again Jared, you've done well! Liked and subscribed. Hello from Australia
*All you have to do is follow the damn train cj*
titanx619 lol
I like Marysville a lot. Do you have any plans for that series anymore?
Super Excited!
Great to see you're back in Steam again :)
I like this a lot
Cool another trainz series! Anyway Santa Fe 1316 is in the Texas state Railroad museum on display in the hall of Giants.
She used to be texas state railroad 500.
Why does Eddy sound nervous?
Yay new series!!!!
You have more trainz series than I have videos but this video was good looking forward to more episodes
If the next episode comes out, you have to return Eddie.
I like this!! It's made me laugh so hard
Oddly enough that you should use Santa Fe 1316 for this, as she is still with us (And in Texas) today. Though she hasn't run since the late 90's or early 2000's and needs a major rebuild, she is currently owned by the Texas State Railroad.
More video please do more I love your video keep it up man
Is it bad that I wanna do a voice over for this lol?
Yes AmtrakGuy365 I big fan of you
Nice Video.
I like that you put the name of my town. san angelo
At 10:02, what TOFC cars are those
More more video s keep up good work

Series (Ceris?) Is a legit Tsundere and I love it
This should be fun
Did you reskin the Pullman observation car?
here we go again!

9:50 I’m sure he would have seen it by then 😂
I heard the Winnipeg railfan in this video
I saw a picture of the actual 1316 and I saw that in one of the recent ones it's boiler cab and tender were missing, all that remained were it's locomotive wheels. Sad that the actual one looks scrapped.
It's not. Just dismantled.
How did you get atsf 1316 “Eddie”
Anyone realize the Harry Potter reference?
Hermione Granger?
I’ll bet I’m late to the party, but does anybody know where I can find the ATSF 4-6-2?
I don't see any sign of a supe- *INTENSITY ROLLING SOUNDS AND ENGINE ROARING* geez I didn't know they went that fast!!!

Description: I L L I N O I S
Is this based on actual Illinois railroad history by any chance? I'm just taken aback by the mention of so many different track gauges in this railroad's past; 3ft, 30in, pretty sure I even heard mention of 2ft in there somewhere. Might be showing lack of overall knowledge on my part, but I'm always kind of surprised to hear about narrow gauge being used in America outside of the mountains of Colorado & New Mexico or the thick forests of Maine.
7:34 woah there buddy
Didn’t expect to get a notification for this, but that’s okay, because this first episode was great. I might be biased because I love the Santa Fe.
Also, what’s with the Super Fleet FP45s on the Super C? If I recall they were on passenger trains in 1968 and weren’t in the Super Fleet scheme until the early 90’s
I love the 1316 model, where did you get it from?
This looks good! If you need anymore voice actors, I'd be happy to help this series out!
