This '71 Charger is the only (known) HP and big block car painted pink from the factory in 1971, it has recently been rotisserie restored and is drop dead gorgeous! I am excited I inherited a 70 Charger 440 I cant wait to start restoring it RIP DADDY
I once stumped Galen Govier on a code. This was way way back before the internet was what it is today. It took him months to get back to me and he agreed it was a trim code. I used various books Galen’s and others for this code. He offered me a job after that. I had had a stroke (it’s why I sold my 70 Coronet R/T 1 of 1 car) and couldn’t do the job. Galen was awesome and always willing to talk.
🤦♂️. Let’s continue where I pressed the wrong button…. Glad I did… I’m in Australia, and have a 73 440 roadrunner. Not totally original, has a 75 warranty swap motor( documented) and was originally bronze, now plum crazy.. ( again documented with photos. Original torqueflite, original bench seat interior, 83/4 rear. Solid car…. Insurance slips from 74 onwards. Etc etc. A rare car in Australia. I keep it hidden, but run the motor weekly. Anyway, just subscribed and am looking forward to seeing more. 🙌

Nice to see guys who bring these cars back to life. I have been through a few myself. Problem is I buy them and start on them and then someone buys them before they are done. Many I wished I had just kept and stopped working so much on them and just kept the one and done.

My friend had a 71 satellite sebring 383 ,4spd , pistol grip ,posi 8³/⁴ , hemi orange w/woodgrain sides, crome tips on dual exhaust, rally wheels, split bench hi back seats, station wagon I've been trying to find this car it was in Shelby twp. Michigan he died 25 years ago his girlfriend sold it.
The wagons were called Satellite Regent
I’ve known Nick, the old owner for 45 years.
I was there when he bought the Charger in Pamona CA.
So 40 + years I’ve been around it. I had a 69 Charger at that time.
I live in KC now.

Ps… u guys live in the land of mopar. For me to own one, here, and I chased hard, and ain’t a wealthy man, this ROADRUNNER, with its many imperfections? Is my Holly Grail. And, I know you guys get that. Last took it out about a month ago, with my daughter. It wasn’t clean🤦♂️…… but one guy pulled me up and said’ MAGNIFICENT CAR MATE…….. another older Australian bloke came up to me in the car park and said ‘What is a Ply-mouth🤦♂️. Anyone else need a Xanax during the driving part of this video on the interstate? Great video! I love Panther Pink cars. Missed out on a 340 Duster back in the day that was FM3. I was trying to restore my 1970 Coronet R/T that is a one of one (Galen Govier said so). It is a Black body, black top, white bucket seats and stripe delete car. The sister car to mine was in the movie Lockup. Wish I still owned it and had gotten to finish it.
Definitely a neat vehicle, the sassy-grass b- body too.
I get nostalgic every time I watch. I was 15 when I bought my first car, a 68 Roadrunner 383 4 speed. It got stolen, stripped and set on fire. 😢

That’s just a great car I’m building a 1972 Charger SE Brougham but I changed some stuff around it’s an original Y1 top banana color but I put a stroked 440 (512) cu. In. Six pack with FiTech six pack on it Strange 60 out back will wood brakes Cal Tracs , Rally doors a Ramcharger hood

While I love all cars of the era from 1964-1972, I find it sad that Chrysler really only made their best cars from approximately 1964-1971. Sorry Lee Iacocca, the K Car “ain’t cuttin it for me”!
