My only pet peeve and I love the movie I've seen it more than six times is that in the scene with Mary and Edith walking across the grass the outfit that Mary's wearing was in season 6 and I didn't think that they would reuse such older wardrobe like that it was just bizarre seeing that obviously it hangs real well off the actress and she makes it work and I probably can guarantee I'm the only person who notices that I continually watch season 6 I have it on a loop to go to sleep too because it puts me out like a light and that's not a bad thing because when I get up and whatever episode is playing I know what time it is I love Downton Abbey so much and the costumes are amazing and Anna does such a great job with all the beading with all the delicacy everything! ❤️
in the last movie Edith felt perhaps held back not by being a mother, but my the role she plays as Lord Hexum's wife. she misses being a working woman. I missed her saying anything in this movie regarding that and being a mother. I think it's still her role as his wife due to his role, not motherhood. but I'll check it out when I see the movie again.
In the begging of this video you said “Mary is preparing to become the dowager”. That is impossible because it literally means WIDOW! Mary can’t ever be the dowager because she can’t inherit the title LORD (still can’t in 2022) Lady Grantham will be the dowager when and if he dies before her. Americans 😂😉
Well, she was a dowager I guess, and lol with Henry racing cars again she could become one again. HOWEVER, Violet did not run the estate, Robert did, and Mary is taking over for her father.
