I like to tell people to grow where they are planted. I also live in town on about 1/3 acre and I have a large garden plus some raised beds, grape vine, elderberry and pie cherry bushes, apples trees, black raspberries and strawberries, a greenhouse for herbs, 6 laying hens, 3 beehives. I have peppermint, lemonbalm and rhubarb as foundation plantings next to the house. Go for it!

I have some friends one has a big yard and she's suctioned It where they all have a big long square and they plant different things it's really cool thing to do one person has a pretty big space and she rents it out to her she plants food for her restaurant. It's a great idea everyone takes care of their own little square and you got all kinds of food and I love fresh eggs from a chicken
