Many, MANY of her songs range from just touching on disordered eating to being about eating disorders explicitly. It hurts my heart to know that people are able to so quickly dismiss something that’s always been so obvious and always been something she’s been struggling with, choosing to criticize her rather than be proud of them for their recovery.

It’s a song I used to listen to a lot-newer crybaby etiquette usually says it isn’t super respectful to listen to her unreleased stuff though, and I’m pretty sure this would count as one of those songs unfortunately.
I used the song as an example because I wanted to show just how long Melanie has been struggling with disordered eating.

Fun fact!!: Melanie back then wasn’t very healthy and she was really skinny because she had a food/eating disorder, so right now Melanie is healthy and just because she looks “fat” doesn’t mean she actually is, there’s always something behind on how she got to where she is now.
