the more you get into soda stereo the more you will trip through so many different kinds of styles, arrangements, paces...the only thing they repeated in their carrer was quality. not for nothing they became legends. I can't imagine what this band would have achieved internationally if they'd been born 20 years later...sporify, apple music, youtube... actually that's the reason why they're now reaching an international audience of non-Spanish speakers who were never exposed to the group all those years ago

si, fue parte del show, la guitarra que destruye no fue su PRS Standard, sino una PRS SE muy similar que fueron donadas por el distribuidor de PRS para tal fin, creo que esto si hizo solamente en 2 shows...no esta demas destacar la calidad de las PRS...aun las SE que son la segunda marca y mas economicas...porque costo mucho destruirla y el mastil seguia intacto...

4:00 The first time he did it it wasn't totally premeditated. He nearly totally ruined a real PRS Multifoil, which is not a cheap piece of equipment. He was really angry. And it's a very angry song too. Full of fury and resentment.The rest of the band and the crew were like _"What the hell happened? Why'd you do that?"_ so they incorporated the thing into the show in later dates. They got PRS to provide cheap copies that Cerati would abuse every night. Cerati had never done such a thing before this tour, and, as far as I know, never did again. PS: In this particular night's performance there was an interval between three minutes forty two seconds and three minutes forty seven seconds that has been edited from this video. It's about a minute or two. He threw the neck of the guitar into the audience, disconnected the body from the remote control, and then got the other guitar. In the middle of that he told the audience that in a previous night in Lima (Perú) he had spent "an hour" trying to break a guitar and it wouldn't.
The attraction of Soda Stereo is that Gustavo made all the different records, none of them is similar to the previous one, he never repeated the success of the previous record, he changed the genre, changed the sound from one record to another, he could have fully exploited his virtuosity in the guitar as in this song from the album Cancion animal completely rock, however the next album is completely electronic where the guitar doesn't even stand out and was successful again, not repeating gave him much success which shows his absolute talent. In most of the bands the records are a continuation of the previous record, in Soda Stereo this does not happen in any of their records. And I cannot fail to point out that Gustavo Cerati was Soda Stereo, he did all the songs, the lyrics, the music, the production, all the credit belonged to him. And this was one of the reasons for his separation from the band.
