So. let the husband go get the kids and watch them. OP should take a small vacation on her own or go to a relatives house and
let her husband take care of all six alone. That is what OP would have had to do. What a jerk. I don't care what he went through.
That is not license to make your wife miserable and take her free time for someone that takes advantage of others and uses them.
