- Got called out to a leaking toilet job and on inspection there was water drips coming from the middle!
As there was no signs of which part was leaking I find it best practice to just remove all the parts inside and start again fresh!
Installing all new parts gives peaceful mind that nothing could be missed cause a call back and also lengthens the customers life of the toilet as there is moving parts.
I silicone all the gaps under the toilet while still installing the washers provided, but I do choose to put an extra poly washer between the back nut and cistern. This is due to the back nut size only just covering the hole!
Let me know below how you do your toilets and please subscribe if you are new and give it a like as all this helps the channel to grow!
So this fall I'm going back to school for my GED equivalent, because I've decided a while back I want to become a residential plumber. I live in Canada 🇨🇦, but I'm absolutely inspired by you and so many other plumbers that I want to work hard and become one myself. I'm a 22 year old female who has ADHD and some other learning disabilities but that just means I need to work even harder 😊. Thank you for all your content, efforts and time ❤.
I really appreciate your comment and I’m glad the videos give some sort of benefit for you! I’m just showing jobs I get up to everyday and if people find it entertaining or helpful I’m really grateful. I got ocd and adhd and plumbing does relief that but I have to cut out and start fresh 😂
The number plate plastic caps for the screws is a good idea 👍🏻 great vid
I have been a plumber for 30 years and never used sealant on a toilet use the washer provided no leaks
Wowser, I can't believe that I didn't know about your channel. Thought I'd seen them all. Well done to you and your supporters for taking it so far in so few years. Plumb on
