The guy is Sr. Pelo, who also makes funny and satirical animations. He voices all of the characters in most of his animations and sounds surprisingly different for each one (sometimes he has other voice actors). He's super funny and you should watch him if you're interested in his works.

it counts as 0 damage because the things you destroy to progress are considered "enemies" or "projectiles" to the game. like for example in some levels the bosses summon things that can hurt you, but can be hurt too. (like the muncher plant things in gagny carnation's stage) when you kill these, it doesn't go towards killing the boss, but instead removes an obstacle that was in your way. and when all of the "enemies" are killed, it goes to the next stage, like in [shit what was that candy stage again?] when you defeat either the chocolate bar, gumball machine or [i forgot the other one], it progresses the battle and the boss comes out of hiding. this explains why in the last stage of the boss (where the doctor reveals itself) can take damage, because its the only stage the boss actually is on screen.

Did any of you know you could secretly defeat Dr Kahl’s robot at 1:41 when the robot’s head is about to eject? You have to shoot it’s head enough times to get a secret knockout.

The bugged progress bar has to do with the fact that there's multiple targets i'm pretty sure. the booze boss from the casino also does it, because there's three of them.
Fun fact: regular plane bullets deal more damage per second then the bombs

I loved Ryan’s reaction to doing no damage when “In a Heartbeat” started playing. Set the desperation of his situation very well.
let's face it, the only reason we do not break the controller/keyboard in this phase is because the music it's lit AF
There's a technique to this boss actually, you use the bombs on the vent where the invader things come out and you can destroy the chest area too, just avoid the lasers. This would be easier with 2 players, one keeps damaging the heart using bombs and the other keeps the homing bombs in check. My friend and I just finished thsi game on expert mode and this was the hardest among all of them lol.

In this boss I use the extra heart charm. I destroy the antenna first while destroying the drones it sends from its belly. Then I destroy the belly and make sure to shoot as much as I can there to destroy the projectile bombs. Then I destroy its chest and save my supermeter to destroy its heart before the magnet or the arms appear. IN the second phase, I switch to the plane bombs to destroy every projectile while attacking the robot's head until it goes to the third phase and make sure to destroy the last bombs quick. In the third phase, I switch back to arrows and focus my sight on dodging all the attacks, and I use the supermeter whenever I can. This is not a recommendable method if you wanna get perfect scores, but it is if you wanna beat the boss no matter the grade.

All the moments of people going "What do I hit?" while ignoring the fact the three damage points freakin' flash when you shoot them, oh man that was physically painful. Best job.
Dr. Kahl's robot is indeed very challenging. But the more u lose, like all bosses in this game, the more u learn from their patterns and strategies
You know what's interesting is no one thinks to attack quickly, everyone thinks "more health should be the way to go" instead of "let me see what I can do to get the maximum damage" I made a comment on one of these types of videos on another channel, people need to think about using other charms for plane levels. One idea I've always had was when taking out the parts of the Robot, to equip the Whetstone charm and use bombs to destroy the antenna, and go for the bottom where it can damage both the robots that come out and the stomach hatch, and then finally, aim for the chest
