i like the part where he stood in line for a drill.
Lol...
Me too!
Waiting for drills are the best ❤ 😂
this comment made me "lol"
HAHAHAHHA]
Don't listen to the negativity, thanks for focusing in on #98. It's really the only reason why I clicked on to watch. Keep up the great work.
It’s freaking nbc sports Chicago tho. It’s not like it’s an amateur on their phone.
How could they be this comically clueless on what a fan would prefer-oh wait yep. NBC sports.
You and me both
Speak often of Lukas Reichel, folks. He's has the makings of an nhl star, too. He and Connor could light a great many lamps combined for the foreseeable future.
ger/can mix like mcdavid and draisaitl :)
Kid’s going to go far in my opinion, head up, speed and a wicked shot at net. 👍🏻👍🏻
He’s not mcdavid so who cares
Kind of like the first day of work for the new golden boy. Has to be a little stressful. Potential friends, potential rivals, etc. but yeah, even among this young roster, it’s still another huge step up from that Prospect Showcase.
Awesome video! Maybe next time show more of the general practice activity. We'll be able to see the whole team practice and we'll find 98 too, don't worry.
personally i am here to watch the kid...
ive seen enough practices in my day to know whats going on.
@@kYA00h yea him standing doin g nothing for more than half of it was well worth the time...........
you really wanna watch mackenzie entswhistle throw sauce come on
He basically always has his head up and on a swivel, pretty fun to watch
He's going to make the net minders on his team so much better. I mean they'll learn how to stop shots like his. Very fortunate
can't believe I just watched a 50 mins video of Bedard mostly standing around
and now youre watching compilatiin videos of damce moms
Bedard is quick even compared to NHL regulars. He's gonna be hard to contain.
he doesnt have the speed. its guna be hard for him to adjust nhl is way quicker.
@@GmaneeeeeHe has speed he just has it more in bursts. Imo I think he’s very similar to how Crosby plays the game (offensively at least) he’s rarely going to be darting up the ice like a MacKinnon or McDavid, but he’s always surveying and can make quick plays. And when he needs to, he can raise the speed.
this is aging well. The kid is popping off@@Gmaneeeee
Love this as background ambience. Thanks!
Excited to watch the young guys future is bright
Awesome thanks for this
We are painfully zoomed in here for hockey, you gotta show the whole ice to get a sense of space.
It's like they told the camera person to follow Bedard. And they did their job a bit too well.
When they do that depending on the camera it becomes more difficult to tell who is who.
@@Rowan-mo4ko Then let me operate the camera, I can tell you instantly who is and isn't Connor Bedard out there without zooming in.
wah....?😂😂😂😂😂😂
there is no space in the nhl. youve never been a part or watxh a praxtice???
there pretty much all the same.
Man...he is small, but mighty! We hope
What a Great video! Thank you 😊 really enjoyed the ZOOMED OUT parts of the video as you can sure see the 😂talent in CONNOR 👍👌 and connection with the team😊 what a time to be watching in the stands 😀
Viva la Bedard!!!
at work...just left the audio on. No greater background sound.
The camera man should zoom in more on Bedard.
Brutal video.
Super excited to see Donato.
His body language is showing he’s a bit tentative. He’s so young and stepping on the ice with the likes of Foligno is intimidating for anyone young. There are real men out there that shave in the morning and need to shave again at 5pm. He’s a highly intelligent and well regulated kid emotionally and he will adapt quickly. He’ll be just fine. It’s a big world from Vancouver and Regina. The Chicago airport is a city in itself. What a jungle that is lol.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 you funny as fucc but you’re completely right he’ll be just fine
@@sivlizshngrif4858 my guy was reading too much into it for real lol
I still dont understand why some of u are saying that hes being standoffish. Watching this video i see bedard talking to people. Its practice so he wants to listen to the coachs as well
i remember watching luke richardson at maple leafs gardens...
made it as a coaxh...cool
not a bad little hockey player. could make a solid 4th line grinder type guy for the hawks if he keeps developing
He looks a little starstruck and it's finally sinking in. Must be unreal. I wish the best for this kid
But there are no stars on the hawks anymore
@@mrjs323 I mean as a whole. Foligno isn't terrible. It must be overwhelming to be a boy amongst giants. Some of their sticks are taller
Tbh I can’t imagine the mental fortitude it takes on these guys. He’s 18 and the entire hockey world has eyes on him and expects him to kill it immediately in the league.
Yes he’s a bud tentative. It’s only natural. These are men on the ice. Shaving twice a day and some have kids half his age. There is ALOT to adjust to. New city, new country, he’s used to all the players on the ice gravitating towards him and looking to him to lead. Here everyone just goes about their business. He has to find comfort with certain guys to understand new coaches, new drills which are much faster and intense. In junior he went home to a billet family. In pro you are much more in your own. He will be probably placed with a gut like Foligno’s family or an older guy but still it’s much different. He’s used to billet mom’s doing everything they can to make life easier. Those days are over. The kid will do just fine. He’s highly intelligent with good emotional regulation and will adapt quickly. He’s proven that in the past and is a big reason why he is where he is. The first year is hard. Really hard.
Great video, but you missed him in the locker room, and showering, gotta have that!
Tyler Johnson definitely putting Bedsy on game wish they were mic'd up
Anyone else still find it crazy to see that name on our jersey lol
12:14 is my favorite part
The camera is way too far zoomed in. Can't see how they react to other players.
Seemed stressful, some of the drills were chaotic lol
He's got that Colgate smile, deceptive size, and a face that belongs on a teen magazine, and all the while the kids a stone killer. God, i can't wait for hockey to begin!
Blackhawks have a lot of big dudes.
Some say he has the longest stick in the mid west...
Wait which one is Bedard?
Fantilli didn’t even show up at the world juniors when the team needed him to step up.
Thx for this, but, honestly, unless you
just want to admire his looks, there’s not much that can be gleaned from this 50 min video. We have no idea what they’re even doing because the camera is zoomed right in on him the whole time. Which I feel is silly because we’re starting to make an icon out of his image irrespective of what he can even do on the ice.
Can you imagine how frustrating it would be to watch a hockey game, where the camera was only ever zoomed in on the puck carrier?? It’s bloody maddening when it even happens for a few seconds.
good for 150 points
Looks like the pace is faster than he anticipated.
How so?
Shocking how the rookie is nervous at camp right? Cry when he dismantles the ancient pens core opening night
@@cjc2076 lmao Crosby will man handle him .
@@8799crosbygo look at bedards physique buddy..at only 18.
Which one is Debard?
Andrew Shaw shoots left-handed now, and he is much taller
Was in AAA practices that had less standing than this lol.
Taylor Hall is already injured, right?
You guys obviously have never seen him practice....he's the real deal. He was the highlight reel and a one man show at the World Juniors. He has a wicked shot. Chicago is lucky to have this generational talent.
I don’t know what that person is saying about Bedard not talking to anyone. I see him talking to Johnson and Donato. I personally think he is just concentrating because this is the first time he’s practicing with some NHL players.
so....
you dont think hes trained with nhl pros before???
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
youre silly
Over your head. Doesn't matter if he did. This is his JOB. He wants to be great. Laser focused from start to finish. HE Isn't normal. It's obsession. Professional.
I know that he is very gifted hockey player but just looking at him in line he looks really small. What happens say when he meets Makar, mcdavid dahlin Thompson I guess we’ll see I wish him all the best.
Poor guy seems like nobody talking to him. I need one of those white goalie practice jerseys
*WATCH: Connor Bedard stand in line
Dam I wish someone videod my every move of every second of my life. WTF I don't know if I would be able to handle that. I'll give it to the kid he's good with people and he seems to like hockey 🤭
Hate the visor tilt it was ruled out but because he “is so good” they let him do whatever
Shout out to Kaira’s W Chicago homies 🤘🏼🏒
real
Remember Alexandre Daigle?
Daigle was a huge guy though!
Looks like he needs a bigger bucket.
Teams busy raising ticket prices as we speak.
Every time he is around the puck or touches it you can see he’s on an whole different level - players around him look like pylons. We’ll see what happens when he starts to get pasted, but he certainly looks NHL ready.
Gross amounts of pressure, wow… no life even remotely normal for this kid any more….
he looks shook
Bedsy
What a shame that such a super talented young man had to end up in a leftist dystopian hell scape like Chicago. Hope he survives long enough to leave.
Wonder why these kids turn into a bust. So much unnecessary pressure put on them! Let the kid do his thing without watching just him standing in line for drills
poor kid ends up in the most corrupt city in the nation....
Hope he doesn't get shot no pun intended
These training sessions look so boring. These guys don’t seem to be very friendly.
Is he aloof or just standoffish ?
Talks to no one, and no one talks to him.
Must be that being the #1 O/A makes him better ...
Weird. I saw him talking to multiple teammates, and on multiple occasions. Otherwise, he was watching what was happening, and listening to his coaches--just like everyone else out there. He was acting no differently than the rest of them. That was a practice, not a social hour.
you blind?
That’s not true, at all. The cameras centered on one guy probably make things a bit uncomfortable. Besides that, it’s like the first real day of work with the pro roster. Just fitting in, not trying to be the center of attention. It’s a lot to take in for anyone, let alone an 18 year old golden boy
its called FOCUSING!!!
curious..have you ever boxed?
you see guys chit charting while theyre sparring.
NO..!!!😂
its also diarespectful to the coaches.
Bedard is literally taller than Tyler Johnson and people wonder if he will be able to play in the nhl lmao😅
He wont make it in his 1st year of NHL
Horrible. Video shows more standing in line than anything. Video gives no context nor comparison to other players nor team style. Kinda creepy, actually with the hyper focus
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"kinda creepy"...???
people did the same when mcdavid had his first practices
youre weird...drink a bud
@@kYA00h OK. it IS creepy
This team is dog water
1st round exit team ... id rather get bedard
so is your mom
Fantilli is the better player
Lmfao what are you smoking sir
He is little, its big trouble in nhl for him.
Looks way to small, and he’s getting banged around a lot. Much different from when he played vs players his own age
