How much is a tree replacement? I don’t think it’s broke, but if it is, it’s worth replacing. It was my grandpa’s saddle he won for all around in college back in 1964

I bought a used Big Horn saddle recently. When I turned it over, I noticed about a 1 1/2" split just about under the seat. Can I still use it or will it get worse? TY

Does getting the saddle wet change the fit

If you submerge the saddle in water like soaking in a water trough , there’s a chance that you could warp the tree if it got wet enough , long enough.
