  • US Army medic Tony Acevedo was among hundreds of American soldiers forced to surrender to the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II.
He was captured in January 1945 and taken to a prisoner-of-war camp, where he and his comrades were beaten and tortured. Tony recorded every atrocity and death he witnessed in a secret diary to honor his fellow soldiers and keep their memory alive.

I am the son of this remarkable loving man, I miss you my amazing father. You've touched so many lives, I've watched you for all of my 58 years help and love people, you taught me to never give up, as you have said and done in your own life. You have always said, Patience is a virtue, kill them with kindness and never repay evil for evil. Thank you USHMM for this moving animation of my father.

They just make humans like this anymore. With all the crazy stuff going on nowadays we sure could use more Tony Acevedo's. As a retired service member, I salute you sir.

    Very good news!
Soon the fulfillment of Isaiah 2:4 will take place:
"He will render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore."
We will enjoy absolute peace, for all the tragical events will be forgotten, according to Isaiah 65:17:
"For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart."
    And there is more.
    Have a very pleasant day!
