Police officer, Jack Stone purposefully orchestrates a robbery in order to be thrown into a prison where a notorious Russian criminal is. Balam's more than just a criminal;. He, likewise, is in prison as a cover; no one would suspect a man in supposedly heavily guarded prison's actually running his empire, outside. But he is. Thinking he's safe in his 'castle', Balam's not aware his days of control are rapidly dwindling.

You know this story is far fetched when the corrupt police and prosecutors and prison workers were held accountable.
its actually not far fetched, in wisconsion or whatever that states called, it has the highest fire rate of deemed corrupt government officials/law enforcement officers in the entire north america, and theres a like a good 4 other states very close with it.
Well, barely any criminals in general are held accountable these days. You have literal terrorist groups in the west like BLM and Antifa that were allowed to run amok with no consequences.

i don´t exactly know what gnarly means but i think his carrer was really good, yes he retired on a losing streak but thats pretty normal for people who can´t stop fighting even tho old age is knocking at the door.
the man went 20-3 befor the losig streak and even the 21-8 isn´t to bad concidering that his last few losses where all against real legends or UFC champions.
btw. i don´t count the third tito fight, if i was asked that fight never happened!^^

From my understanding when the line "even many wardens did not know", it could imply that even throughout the cycles of wardens who've taken charge of that facility were unaware of the location of the mob boss.
Basically leaders can change and since we are talking about a fictional corrupt location... seems plausible.

The story most of it are real. Like in the Philippines all drug Lord still continues to do illegal drugs business while in prison. Corrupt officials are still rampant inside the prison cell!

The plot may not be original but it's the journey that makes it interesting. It's good to see Dolph Lundgren in a role that makes him not seem like a douche bag but a good guy who also kicks mucho ass.
