I’m writing a book. The events occur in Charleston. One of my questions, if you don’t mind, is this: is the difference between of the accent of native Charlestonians and of transplants is so great one can distinguish transplants? Another question is: Which place in Charleston (including Mt. Pleasant, but not North Charleston) is known to be more white supremacist? And many other questions, but these two are enough to not bother you.

You can’t walk from parking lot to office building (2 mins) without getting a few gnats bites! Other than couple of colleagues, I didn’t know anyone at the beginning and didn’t like it much. However I grew to love the city. It’s amazing to see dolphins jumping around when you sit in the restaurant by the water. Beautiful beaches!

I didn't even know there were a smaller version of cockroaches. My father-in-law's insists that palmetto bugs are not cockroaches. All I got to say is if that's the case I've never even had a cockroach in my house. Grew up in Arizona and the big flying cockroaches are everywhere in the wet months. Clogging up your drains unless you're using them helps, But I don't think I could ever get used to it even after 17 years in Phoenix with them. I'm living in Atlanta now and it's not so bad here but still happens every now and then. It's the Gators I don't know about being able to handle.

The following are the things I heard about Charleston: “the people are snooty, mature and or friendly”, “the food is fantastic”, “Charleston bar scene isn’t as good as Savannah” and etc.
I would love you honest opinion on the things I heard about Charleston. Are the people (particularly black Americans) really snooty, mature and friendly? If yes, that would be perfect. We do not have any problem with being accepted or run into problem because of our relationship. I think there is a lot of misconception about Charleston and Sc as a Southern state. Before Covid there were tones of events and activities to attend and with Charlotte and Atlanta being less than a 4 hour drive my husband and I would hop in the car or take a 45 minute plane trip and hang out for the weekend. They are seasonal so yes we do open our windows. Most if not all windows have screens in them. Some people are not bothered by them at all. Must be something in their blood that keeps them away. Others they love. But bug spray, skin so soft from Avon and I find other natural local products that keep them away. The alligators are near ponds and they love sun bathing so you would not see them in the fall and winter months. Charleston is a beautiful place and most people love it despite those things. They are not out all year round and have your home exterminated quarterly to prevent them. You still could run into them while out and about every now and then.

Hello there. Yes, but it’s cleaned up rapidly. But when I travel to other areas like NY and many others I will say it’s not bad at all. We keep it clean. Thank you for watching

Andrea Tucker give me a call. We can discuss a plan for the debt and I can definitely help with finding a place that fits your rental budget. 8439262007
