FUMED: Fuel Measuring Device

PDPM, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur organizes the display of innovative projects based on the health, social and consumer product sectors.
The learning objective of the project was to recognize the critical elements in creative domain of engineering design and product / process development strategy. There were total 59 projects displayed in open house exhibition from undergraduate batch 2015. Each group contains students from different discipline, who have really worked hard for their project.
The following project was ranked third position on basis of evaluation from independent committees consisting of (a) Peers (Final year undergraduate students), (b) People from Industry, (c) Jabalpur Startup and (d) Media.
Title of the Project: Fuel Measuring Device: FUMED
Description: To design a device which measures the quantity of fuel being filled in a vehicle in real time, thereby preventing fuel theft.

During fuel up petrol in my car I asked to petrol pump operators to fuel up with 15 ltr petrol which cost me around 1675 approx petrol rate was Rs.110.60 approx and when I looked to my tank it supposed to 4 to 5 bars should be there but 2 bar are missing. It means 6 ltr petrol ka gafla

Brother ager fuel station Wala speed kam kar deta hai Fule dalne ki waha yeh galat reading dega.. Dusri baat jab fuel station wala fuel bharta hai pehle toh machine fast chalti hai. Akhri ke 100-200 ml mein machine bahut slow ho jati hai.uss time bhi yeh galat reading dega

abhi jo hum sensor use kar rahe hai usme ek fan hai jo pulse calculate krta hai, pr agar humne Hall effect wala flow sensor lia toh flow ki speed matter nhi karegi
